- This is one of good college to pursue your marine related course, And this DG approved college.
- The faculties are very friendly, helpful and they are easy to approach to clear your doubts.
Dislikes
- The hostel facilities at amet are not up to the expected standards, need to improve their amenities provided to students.
- Need to enhance their bus facilities. The buses or not air conditioned. They need to increase the quality of their vehicle.
Internships Opportunities:
Several ship construction companies and ship building companies were tiedup with AMET university. After completing of 2 years of education management will help you to get an internship to enhance the idea and knowledge of industries. Designing companies are doing a projects like ship designing of 2D and 3D model for the construction of ship. students can gain more of knowledge about ship construction and designing.

- The college provides with much placements and cadetships as for my opted course if you maintain a good CGPA and no history of arrears
Dislikes
- The comparisons and politics which goes on and on for each position and power.
- The inequality they show at each cadets. At this university, if you’re a girl, they’ll provide you with everything.
Internships Opportunities:
Cadetship opportunities are provided if you have a good PCM that means about 75 percent and if you have no history of arrears. Even if you have arrears, Cadetship can be arranged if you have contacts or references, but of course there are agencies that can opted for that.

- Mess food should be changed according to the north people as it is totally south indian

In Bsc Nautical Science Student are eligible for the placement from the starting of 3rd year if they don't have any arrear or back in their semester and if someone doesn't get the placement then they can directly approach to the company by mailing them their resume...

- I liked each and every thing about our college to be honest because it's depends on us to survive in a good or bad surrounding
- Management of amet University is good where they are not doing partiality.
Dislikes
- Mosquito preventative should be added more
- They should change COE OF EXAMINATION because he is not at all good talker. He is very rude

Amet University has offered me and my fellowmates to go to Goa shipyard limited. To do our internship where we have learned. Alot more things about shipping industry . And also we have visited to INS SHARDUL, ICV SAMRAT.

University has successfully completed it's summer internship process for the student will be allocated by the college. Various companies made internship offer. Each candidate has undergo the institute training for 20 days

- Faculties, Captains are way too good at teaching they teach with their experience.
- Curricular activity and sports are quite fun after a long hectic day.
Dislikes
- Hostel rooms as they don't have proper ventilation
- Way too hectic schedule throughout the day
Placement Experience:
Top companies like Mersk, V-ships, Wallem, Thome, MSC, MSI, etc. are collaborated with AMET University. Our University has the best placement record of 80% each year. If you study hard and get above 9 CGPA there is a 90% of chance of your placement from Cllg itself. In any case if you don't get placed you can fill the forms and get placed. The pakage starts from 3LPA to 7LPA depending upon the company and type of ship alloted to you. As I'm placed so after getting the degree I'll join my company after our waiting period n start earning.

Internships Opportunities:
A lot of shipping companies are coming to amet campus to hire students Some of the leading shipping companies are MEARSK, GOODWOOD, NYK SHIPPING, OSM, ONE, CHEVRON, EVERGREEN and a lot more offshore companies.
Placement Experience:
Many companies visit amet for placement like mearsk,vships ,Kline,fleet etc and during 6th sem cadets will get chance In placement interview and nearly 80% of people get placement from college. And many people get placement even in 1st year in mearsk
Internships Opportunities:
In amet almost 10 to 15 company visited during our courses. The companies are coming for the 2nd year. And taking students. On average, every company will offer 500 USD per month as a stipend and after completing our training, our salaries will be around 3000 USD per month.
Internships Opportunities:
If you are maintaining a good GPA and a good percentage of attendance, then no one can stop you from getting an internship and then getting a placement. So just study enough to secure a good GPA. You have to go for a 6 months contract on a ship as an Engine cadet, and in that 6 months, you just have to learn how to use this and that by seeing you, seniors. Just get more and more knowledge as an engine cadet, and you will be free to become the 4th Engineer on a ship and start earning lakhs. The stipend you get as an engine cadet is around 30000 to 40000.
