Course Curriculum Overview :

Actually, at Amet University, we have the best faculty from this field. They all are x-captain or x-chief engineer. Which is the best thing because they share all the things they have faced in marine life with studies.

Class Size : 39Course Fees : INR 350000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Amet University has offered me and my fellowmates to go to Goa shipyard limited. To do our internship where we have learned. Alot more things about shipping industry . And also we have visited to INS SHARDUL, ICV SAMRAT.

Placement Experience :

No, our college placement department Is really working very hard to give everyone placement after the completion of our all semester also. And many Maersk line, synergy, dynacom, bergebulk, fleet management used to talk to many of our cadets

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Our fee structure at that time was 350000 per annum they included the tuition fees, hostel fees, practical fees , medical fees, library fees , books fees and exams fees. We don't have to pay single single wise. And we have total of 3 installments to pay part-wise.

Campus Life :

At AMET University I was the chairman of student council as well as the parade commander for BE MARINE ENGINEERING and I have organised alot of festivals like Holi, Diwali, Onam, Pongal and many more and also I have organised many blood campus, eye campus, marathon, and many more. Every year department used to do many interesting things in which we can involve and earn many things

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility was good . Where we are getting a good neat and clean rooms . Every day the maids used to clean the floors and cleans the washroom properly . And they used to give bunk fans and every week they used to give 2 bedsheets and one pillow cover and the next week they take that for cleaning and provide other bedsheet and pillow cover. Also the hostel food was good and well hygienic

Hostel Fee : INR 29000 per year

Admission :

First, we had to take the IMUCET exam then we have to go through the interview process the cutoff for our batch was 80%. Then they called us for the admission process. Then we have to select our course be Marine Engineering or BSc NAUTICAL SCIENCE

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students become eligible for campus drive. The companies are like TCS, COGNIZANT etc. The highest package is 4.5 lac/annum is offered by TCS. The percentage of students is above 80. My plan is going to be a good employee in a good company.

One of the best college in Chennai

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. TCS, WIPRO, BPO COMPANIES, and many more top companies come. Highest package is 3-4 LPA and average 1.5 -2-5 LPA as per companies come. 70 to 90% students getting placements. To be successful is my carrier is my plan after getting the degree.
