- The hostel facilities at amet are not up to the expected standards, need to improve their amenities provided to students.
- Need to enhance their bus facilities. The buses or not air conditioned. They need to increase the quality of their vehicle.
Course Curriculum Overview :
If you are interested in Naval Architecture and ship designing you can go for it. Academy will always available to help you to teach you about subjects, and they will teach you the basic structural drawing using pencil and aswell as by using a desining software. Autocad , MS excel, and some 3d designing softwares are palys a major role to enhance your skills. To improve these area this course will help you to enhance your skills.
Internships Opportunities :
Several ship construction companies and ship building companies were tiedup with AMET university. After completing of 2 years of education management will help you to get an internship to enhance the idea and knowledge of industries. Designing companies are doing a projects like ship designing of 2D and 3D model for the construction of ship. students can gain more of knowledge about ship construction and designing.
Placement Experience :
From completing second year of studies students are will sent to intership. The industrial visit will be visit as per students intrests and demand. But the placement will conduct only during your Eigth semester of you course. Top ship construction companies and designing companies are come for the placement, with and Average salary package of 100000 - 300000\- initially. In this atleast Fifty percentage of students get placed.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Course fee comes around Rs- 200000 /- per year exclude transport fee and hostel fee. This Rs-200000/- includes tution fee, library fee, labarotary fee, technology fee and Miscellaneous fee. Exam fees , transport and hostel fee are have to pay separately as per instruction from management. Students who are struggle to pay the they can go for student education loan, college will help you for the further procedure.
Campus Life :
AMET university is has an average intrested to prepare students them to celebrate the festival events, culturals events and extra curicular activities to participate. It depends on the students activity and behavior. But academy will give a full support for the tectinical events for students. Management is very much involved in anti-raging, they concerne more about students safety. To encorage sports enthusiasist academy will allow or conduct the inter college sports competition on various sports.

AMET university hostel have an accomodation of more than a 2000-3000 students. with an average quality of hostel facilities. hostel amenities such as wifi connenctivity, laundry facilities and 24/7 security are generally generally considered as better quality. The occupancy per room around 3- 5 as per the room size and cot. Average quality and variety of food is provided in a hostel mess is overall satisfaction. Registration fee for hostel will be around Rs-100000/-.
Admission :
The basic qualify to join B.E. Naval Architecture & Offshore Engineering, the students should pass 12th standard with average percentage of minimum 50%. After getting an eligible mark management will cross check your mark list and will instruct you to fill the admission for and they will conduct a basic entrance test. after clearing an entrance exam management will approve your application and proceed for the further process.
Faculty :
Faculties are quite friendly to approach. If you are intrested to learn something new and to improve your skills they are always approachable. They teach and bring valuable real worl experience and academic qualification to their teaching role. You can ask any doubt regarding subjects.
