VMOU Admission
VMOU admissions are conducted through both online and offline modes. Admission to all the UG and PG courses (except B.Ed, MBA, MCA) is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. The university conducts VMOU MET and VMOU B.Ed entrance exams for admission to the MBA and B.Ed programs respectively. MCA admissions are done through an entrance examination conducted by the university.
VMOU Ph.D. admissions are based on the entrance test followed by a personal interview conducted by the university. Candidates having valid scores in NET/ SET/ GATE are exempted from the entrance test.

VMOU Scholarships
VMOU offers scholarship aids for differently-abled students, this scholarship is provided by the NHFDC. Under this financial scheme, a total number of 2500 students will be provided financial assistance which covers course fees, maintenance allowance, books & stationery allowance, and aids & appliances for the students studying professional or technical degree or PG level curriculum. Candidates having an annual family income of less than INR 2.5 lakhs (for SC) and INR 1.5 lakhs (for OBC) are eligible to apply for scholarships. Vmou is an open university so you can avail of any course and your home books material will be provided by the college itself and books are so good amd very helpful. You can select your examination centre as per your choice and also you can change examinations city each year. Now the assignment submission problem is also going to resolve. There are only one problem times VMOU starts exams 2 to 3 months late from its session it means if you are a student of the July session then maybe your exams will be in Sept. October next year. Copy checking system is not that much rigid you can score good marks in every subject

In order to be eligible for BLIS admission at VMOU, candidates must fulfill the following requirements: Graduation (minimum three years) or equivalent from a recognized University with 50% marks and 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PH; OR Master's degree in any discipline or Graduation (minimum three years) with Diploma in Library and Information Science; OR Graduation (minimum three years) with two years work experience in Library and Information Center; OR Bachelor's degree in professional subjects. VMOU BLIS (Bachelor in Library and Information Science) is a 12-month course at the PG level. The maximum duration to complete the courses is 24 months. VMOU offers BLIS through its 8 study centres that are located in Ajmer, Bikaner, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Udaipur, and Bharatpur. The total fee of VMOU BLIS is INR 9000.
