VMOU Admission FAQs
Ques. Is there any difference between VMOU Distance and Online programs during admission?
Ans. Yes, there is a very small difference. For Distance programs, students are required to visit their Regional Centre to verify their documents and receive the study material. On the other hand, Online programs essentially give students a completely digital admission experience from registration to study material access via the VMOU e-learning portal. It may depend on whether you are comfortable with physical interaction or would prefer completely digital interaction.
Ques. Are hard copies of documents required to be submitted to VMOU after completing an online registration process?
Ans. For distance programs, the answer is yes, since students are generally required to submit self-attested copies of documents at the Regional Centre or via the post. However, for online programs, there is no need to submit a hard copy of documents; it is sufficient to upload the scanned copies of documents on the portal.
Ques. Is it possible to apply again if my VMOU admission application has been rejected?
Ans. You can certainly apply again if your application has been rejected because of missing or incorrectly submitted documents. You will need to apply again using the same email ID and correct details in the application. After resubmitting the application with accurate details, VMOU will consider your application for admission for the next admission or the same session (if the deadline allows).
Ques. Can I apply for B.Ed at VMOU without appearing in the entrance exam?
Ans. Admission to the program is based on the entrance exam conducted by the university, also known as PTET. To apply for the B.Ed course, students must have qualified for the exam. The university follows a strict rule for admission to its courses.
Ques. Is teaching experience quiet for applying to the VMOU B.Ed course?
Ans. Having teaching experience is not mandatory to apply for the B.Ed program at VMOU. However, as per the eligibility criteria set by the University that is a mandate which state that students applying can also have at least 2 years of teaching experience in a government-recognised school.
Ques. What is the reservation policy at VMOU?
