VMOU M.Sc admission 2024 is open for the July session. The last date to apply is August 31, 2024. Interested candidates can apply online on the official website @online.vmou.ac.in. The registration fee is INR 200. Check VMOU Admission 2024

VMOU M.Sc is a 2-year distance learning course at the PG level. The maximum duration to complete the course is 4 years. The university offers M.Sc program in 7 specialisations namely, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Computer Science, and Geography. VMOU conducts M.Sc admissions in July every year. The university also accepts lateral entry (admission to 2nd year) to the M.Sc Computer Science. Admissions to the M.Sc program will be offered based on an entrance exam followed by counselling conducted by the university. Candidates who have completed bachelor’s Degree (minimum TDC) from any recognized University in any discipline with at least Second Division or equivalent are eligible for admission.

VMOU M.Sc cutoff for 2024 admissions has been released. The cutoff is based on marks secured in the qualifying examination. VMOU M.Sc Cutoff marks for general catgeory candidstes are given in the table below:

VMOU M.Sc Eligibility Criteria

In order to be eligible for M.Sc admission at VMOU, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree (minimum TDC) from any recognized University in any discipline with at least Second Division or equivalent.
For M.Sc Computer Science Lateral Entry: Passed PGDCA from VMOU OR Passed PGDCA from any recognised university with at least second division in Bachelor’s degree provided that 70% of the syllabus are common with that of VMOU.

VMOU M.Sc Admission Criteria

Admission to M.Sc at VMOU is done through an entrance exam conducted by the university. The final selection for the M.Sc program is done on the basis of scores obtained in the entrance examination.

VMOU M.Sc application process is completely online. Application forms for admission can be filled by visiting the official website of the university. Students are required to register themselves with a valid contact number and email id and verify the registration by entering the received OTP on the given contact details

College life is gone wrong when you focus on all those activities that are to be done outside the college campus,and neglect the priority purpose, while you are inside of college.

Fees and Financial Aid:

I'm applying from SBD college Sardarshahar and my university is Vardhman Mahaveer Open University Kota. There 7000/- per year fee for master of science in mathematics. And no scholarship in this course. I done my B.sc in Mathematics form Maharaja Ganga Singh University Bikaner.

Fee is not so high and just forgot about hike in fee cause it is a masters in science not in engineering. Looking at the fee year wise it is upto 10 thousands. With lack of scholarship oppertunity for general students. But yes if you are from OBC, SC, and ST then you will for sure get scholarships annually.

Admission to M.Sc course at VMOU Kota is done based on application and you need to apply for the same by March 31^st 2024.

Admission to VMOU Kota is done based on merit and not based on entrance exam. However, you need to appear for entrance exam viz. B.Ed JEE only for B.Ed course and VMOU NET for PhD course.

Can I get addmission in BA Islamic studies in VMOU

To get admission to VMOU Kota BA course, selection is done based on merit in the last qualifying exam and you must have passed 12^th with 50% or more to be eligible.

I have done my msc 1 year from zoology. Due to. Some reason I can't continue my regular degree can I complete my Msc 2 year from vmou ?

Yes, you can surely pursue M.Sc course from VMOU Kota for 2 years based on merit. However, you cannot get lateral entry admission to direct 2^nd year.

You cannot pursue BA English Literature and Hindi Literature together. But after completing a BA degree, you can apply for admission in one-year BA Additional English or BA Additional Hindi Literature. To pursue the BA Additional program, you must have completed your BA degree without taking the BA Additional subject.

Is B Ed in special education available in this university

VMOU does not offer B.Ed Special Education. The university offers only B.Ed General program. The duration of the course is two years and the total program fee is INR 53,760.

The admission registration process for VMOU’s July 2022 is going on and the registration deadline is on August 17, 2022. To get admission to this course you must possess a B.Lib.I.Sc degree from a recognized university. Admission is based on the merit of the qualifying examination passed.

Graduates in Engineering or Technology with a specialization in Mathematics and a minimum aggregate of 55% are eligible to apply for admission to the B.Ed course of VMOU. Admission will be granted based on the merit of the entrance test and counseling conducted by the university.

VMOU does not offer BA Political Science course but offers BA General and BA Pass courses. The university also offers a BA Additional Political Science course. The duration of this course is juts one year and you can pursue this course once you have completed a bachelor’s degree.
