University of Kota (UOK) or Kota University was established in the year 2003 by the Government of Rajasthan. It offers a number of Undergraduate, Postgraduate, M.Phil. and Ph.D. courses under a plethora of specializations. The varsity is popularly known for its MBA, B.Sc., M.Sc., MCA, LLM, M.Tech, B.Pharma, etc.

Admissions to the MBA, M.Tech, and MCA courses are based on CMAT, GATE, and RMCAAP (Rajasthan Master In Computer Applications Admission Test) respectively. While for M.Sc. and LLM, UOK conducts an entrance examination for admission. The varsity considers candidates marks in their qualifying examination for admission to B.Sc. and B.Pharma courses.

The knowledge give to students by faculty was really very good. But now the technics as well as the software are Getting updated so the teacher should also Become advance so that tha student may get extra knowledge regarding there course

Internship opportunities provided by the college

Just like placements, internship opportunities were great as well even during the peak COVID chaos. Our college has an autumns internship that happens during Sep-Oct contrary to Summers in other schools. And the internship is tightly linked and part of the entire academic curriculum. The companies and roles offered mirrors the ones I have mentioned for final placements.

Fees of the course per year

Year wise i have to pay 45000rs.Or 15000 per month hostel fees. There is a simple method to get admission in the college u only have to Register in college for admission after paying your college fee your Admission has been confirmed.they also give Us Scholarship category wise.

Students view on campus life

There are many cultural programs held in college.they also organised some Dancing and singing events they r sach a goood. And i have a very Good experience in the college. They also provide us a opportunity to develop our social side..

The college has nice digital classrooms. They have Digital products to teach the students. Meal is also.good and ok ok they Also keep it very nice and clean . Some Times food quality also checked by the respectives. The Hostel located near of the college so it's nice experience for me

I like the faculty of BSC because of my Interest in it and i choose the best college. For my future so i joined this college. After joing this it is a good experience for me.there are 3 exam in it per year 1 main exam. And My exam experience ir also very nice

No public transport vehicle allowed in university campus.

For M.Phil and Ph.D. courses, the candidates must have completed master's degree examination from a recognised University and must have scored at least 55% marks in the aggregate whereas for reserved categories it is 50% marks. The outstate candidates have to secure 60% marks in the aggregate in master's degree examinations.

Kota university Doctoral courses Selection Process

For admission in to the different specializations of M.Phil. and Ph.D., the candidates have to clear the entrance examination conducted by the University.
The candidates who have qualified the CSIR NET/ GATE/ UGC-NET are exempted from appearing in entrance Examination.

Admission to UOK Kota is done based on merit in the qualifying exam and you must have passed UG degree with 55% or more to be eligible. However, the date for application of the same will begin by May and end by June 18^th 2024.

Unfortunately, UOK Kota doesn’t offer online/part-time mode education to the students even for PhD scholars.

Kota University does not have provisions for private admissions. Admissions to the MBA, M.Tech, and MCA courses are based on CMAT, GATE, and RMCAAP (Rajasthan Master In Computer Applications Admission Test) respectively. While for M.Sc. and LLM, UOK conducts an entrance examination for admission. The university considers candidates' marks in their qualifying examinations for admission to B.Sc. and B.Pharma courses.

You can surely take admission to PhD Zoology, for that you need to have a Master’s degree with 55% or more. However, you need to appear for University entrance test and people being qualified CSIR NET/ GATE/ UGC-NET are exempted from the test.
