- this college have really nice infrastructure and well equipped labs and classes
- most of the teachers are from iit and have done PhD in their respective courses and are really helpful
Dislikes
- I dislike that the reservation for Punjab students is 50% therefor there are very less students of other states
- it will take some time to start understanding Punjabi as most of the people speak Punjabi
Fees and Financial Aid:
tution fees for each sem is 2 lakh and 7 thousand and doesinclude library fees and sports fees. fees for hostel varies between 43 to 60 thousand depending on the room you choose and mess fees is 23 thousand . scholarships are give on the bases of your previous sem proformence and gives minimum scholarship of 50% off in tution fees and upto 100% off on tution fees . scholarships for ews is also given based on the documents and verifying the documents

- The only thing I disliked is that student must come back to hostel before 8:30 pm

Fees is fine but a little high for middle class people but the fees is worth the studies and everything we learn at Thapar. Student are also given scholrships on basis of merit and also to students whose family income is less

at our time there was a hike of about 5% and it was a bit costly as per the private university and the cost of the study was all about 16 to 18 lpa. there were many scholarships as per the cgpa criteria mostly for the top 10-15 students.

They are really disciplined and committed to their work. They are always open for feedback and suggestions. I really liked Dr. Ashish Purohit.The way he teaches is amazing. The course syllabus is updated.

According to me,the course curriculum was satisfactory as they covered almost every aspect related to the course and also they covered the syllabus for GATE examination for the concerned people. The faculties were highly qualified and student teacher relationship was very healthy. Teachers were anytime ready to clear doubts of students. Manpreet singh, Shweta goel, Tanuj Chopra and many more

If you opted for any scholarships or educational loan then you need to get in touch with the registrar office. It's the main area which controls all these kind of things.

There was one scholarship which was awarded to meritorious students wherein if you had secured 90 % above in your boards and managed to keep your S.G.P.A. above 8.5 for all semesters to follow then the entire tuition fee was waved which i must say was quite substantial. Any dip in S.G.P.A. for any one semester even while maintaining a C.G.P.A. above 8.5 would result in cancellation of the scholarship.
