there are alot of events in college. Many singers and stars are invited there.
there are parks individually with every hostel and you can roqm their at even night.

Dislikes

the attendance is strictly 75% and if you're not upto that then the fees is quite high.
the fees is very high and it is increasing every year.

my course is well very different from rest of the courses there were almost boys in my class and boys do not fear anyone when they are surrounded by the ones like them only so studying was a task in such condition.

Likes

I liked the atmosphere the management and faculties create for students to compete with each other
I liked the hostel facilities, specially for boys, we do need a little space to play and do some activities for which they provided sports equipment and all.

Dislikes

Sometimess the management don't respond to our queries, we do understand it's difficult to handle such a large number.

Placement Experience:

Chandigarh University provides placements and I think in North India, it's the only university to guarantee 100% placement for the students. For placement, we need to clear out the 6th semester without any backlogs. Companies like Infosys, L&T, Mahindra, Shalimars Paints and many more have visited during my period with an average package of 7pla, and the highest package was 11LPA. My plans after my degree are to get a job and then pursue MTech after 3 years.

Likes

Teachers are well qualified and education quality is good. All facilities are provided In the classes.
No ragging, ragging free campus hence you can enjoy your college journey

Dislikes

75% Attendance is mandatory at any cost if not then you will be not allowed to sit in exams
Several detain fees are there if are not eligible for the paper due to attendance shortage

Placement Experience:

Placement assistance was given by the CRC department of chandigarh University which make you eligible for the different companies.lots of companies were there for the recruitment and placement was given to most of the students those who have good cgpa atleast above 6

Likes

Hostal services are good with a gym and moderate food.
There is an environment of harmony and understanding from a wide range of student spannig from different states and countries.

Dislikes

No proper formalities for legal procedures. It takes so much time to get an NOC or to fix an issue with the documents.
Teachers assigned are not comfortable with the syllabus which makes bith teaching and studying difficult

Placement Experience:

Placements are mainly for cse students. Others also get it but the package is low. The mean salary is around 4 LPA and one would have to choose the tpp program to be eligible to sit for placements. This would cost an extra amount of 10k as of now. The companies that come are Siemens Mahindra, Tata etc. One could go for higher degrees, off campus placements , etc.

Hostel life is best thing and variety of students you get know
Infrastructure is also good and facilities are also nice

Dislikes

Attendance is biggest thing because you have to have 75
Show off students are a lot who is not motivated

I have a passion for mechanical engineering and want to study physics too. There are 60 students hardly in my class and mostly are past out of CGC and CU it self and the exam are on time now and it's easy to pass and not that difficult

Placement Experience:

In this college we get opportunity to get placement 3rd year also which is superb. In my batch many companies visited to our college for placement like- infoys, Tcs, tcl, mahindra and many more. The highest package in my batch was 30 lakhs per annum. Many students got placed in my batch.

The college placement is very high average placement is 6 lakh and the highest package is 36 lakh. 3rd year all companies come on campus and place eligible students and so many companies are coming on campus just for example TCS, INFOSYS, TATA, and so on. In my opinion, Chandigarh University is superior to other universities for the following reasons:

Chandigarh University is recognized by UGC and AICTE. It is among India's top 5% institutions with NAAC A+ ratings. It holds the membership of ICAR, IAU, ACU, IEEE, ASME, ACS, and IUCEE. Further, BCI, AIU, PCI, COA, NCTE, CSI & NCHMCT approve the university.
A total of 200 courses are offered at Chandigarh University with unbeatable ROI.
Apart from CUCET, the university also offers admission based on national-level entrance examination scores like JEE-Mains, NATA, CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ CMAT etc.
