Hostel facilities were good in this campus as this campus is having 12 hostels; 6 for boys and 6 for girls and one more boys hostel outside the campus. The hostel food is far better than the other government college hostels. And the rented PGs and private hostel charge unnecessary amount for accomodation and food is also not upto the mark over there, but there are lot of PG available outside.

I won't hesitate but I have got a beautiful family here, all the staffs are very much friendly and the rooms are very much clean . Food is nice in daya hostel as you can get chicken, egg, prawn in nonveg days . Registration fees for hostel is 800 rupees per year with 700 rupees electric bill. If you would rented a pg then it would cost you double and its very hectic also.

Ist during addmission we have to apply for hostel and then there will be a merit list and distribution of students in different hostel with vaccancy. All hostels are inside the campus except one boys hostel . It cost almost 7100 per year . And monthly to pay the mess bill which run by the hostel which cost 2k per month with very good quality of food. And if any student unable to get any hostel then he/she can stay in pg outside the campus in very affordable price.

Hostel cost is 8000 per year. But monthly it takes the mess fee which is 1200 mandatory. If other than that you took extra or more meals it will charge accordingly.every meal costs 30. We have different rooms. 3 floors and almost 5 hostels for girls.

The hostel facility is very affordable but we have to share room with 5 or 4 other people which can get tiring. meal is very poor. registration is done right after admission, and it's also through merit.

Usually we get hostels based on our 12th marks and distance of our hometown from University. The hostel is quite good with almost all facilities. We are provided with a bed, a cupboard, a study table, a chair , a mirror in the hostel rooms. And depending on the hostel you get you have to share your room ranging from 4-6 students. The admission fees in hostel for the year including security fees was about 6000/- . And the mess bill varies each month depending on the number of meals you have eaten. The compulsory meal charge for each month is 1200/- and varies further. The area also has a lot of PGs nearby at a walking distance.
In Ravenshaw University there are a total of 13 hostels. There are 6 hostels named East, New PG, New Dhammapada, Lalitgiri, Jagannath Chhatrabasa for the boys, and 7 hostels named Bhargabi, Debi, Daya, Kathajodi, Mahanadi, Parija, Wes for the girls.
So, there are many hostels available for both boys and girls and all the basic facilities are being provided at these hostels so that the students can study peacefully.
