I chose this college for pursuing master's degree because it is India's best government fisheries science University. Earlier, ICAR conducted the AIEEA PG examination but from 2018, NTA started conducting this examination in online mode. The exams are usually held in between July and August month. There are 96 seats at present in this university. It has four sub-centers located in different parts of the country undertaking research in different aquatic environment. Lab facilities are excellent and is well equipped with instruments of present day need. One can work under different on going projects like DBT and NAHEP which are world bank funded projects to enhance the experience. Academic session is held only in Mumbai center but research can be done in the center itself or in the various sub centers as per one's interest. Since it is a central government college the facilities it provides is better than any other college and the exposure is also great along with the qualified scientists .
There are only 8 seats available for the course of MFSc fisheries resource management. The curriculum is made in a very ordered way. The curriculum is prepared in such a way that students can get both the practical as well as the theoretical knowledge of the subject.
The curriculum of this post graduate course which I am pursing is very well structured. The curriculum mainly focuses on the research work. This course is of 2 years. The curriculum is thus well prepared so as to impart knowledge in a good manner.
The whole course is a proper and balanced combination of the necessary topics involved in the understanding of the course. There are many research paper which is also included in the course curriculum. The course curriculum each year is added with more upcoming and recent topics in the fishers? development.
The course curriculum is formulated to give quality education to the students. There is also regular revision which is made in the course. The course provides excellence in the field of fisheries and allied disciplines with the help of the various topics taught in the course curriculum.
The course is set we got complete education about the fisheries and proper information about their lifestyle. The course follows the duration of 2 years. The syllabus is updated as per the changes made.
The course curriculum is so good. Not extra and unnecessary topics are included in the subjects. It is a multidisciplinary science programme that involves the study of discipline such as oceanography, marine biology, ecology and many more.
Master of Fisheries science is a post graduate professional program which has the duration of 2 years and follows semester system. The structure of the course is very good and focuses on several practicald and projects. The days are tiring and exams too are hectic.
The course is organised in a well designed. They have included all the aspects which are necessary for the PhD content. The thesis and many others topic are there. There are many case study which help us to get deep knowledge of our subject.
The course is nicely designed for the students to have a better career opportunities. The course meet all the required information for the current scenario. Also the college is very careful and strict with the examinations standard. The administration take place the examinations in calm environment but with strict standards.
