Kerala University MBA Admission 2024: Fees, Eligibility, Application Form, Dates

Kerala University MBA admission 2024 is open now. The last date to apply for the MBA in UIM is April 25, while applications for the MBA in IMK will be open till May 03, 2024. Interested candidates can apply online on the official website at admissions.keralauniversity.ac.in. Admission to MBA is based on scores obtained in the K-MAT/C-MAT/CAT exams followed by a GD and PI conducted by the university. Candidates who have completed bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks are eligible for admission. GD and PI for MBA in UIM will be held on May 06 and May 07, 2024. Also, the GD and PI for MBA in IMK will be held on May 13 and May 14, 2024.

Kerala University MBA Eligibility

In order to be eligible for MBA admission at Kerala University, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

Graduate degree in any stream from a recognized Indian University with 50% marks or equivalent grade.
MA/M.Sc./M.Com.or any other PG Degree recognized by the University of Kerala with 50% of marks/equivalent grade in the aggregate.
SC/ ST candidates shall be given relaxation as per University rules.

Kerala University MBA Admission Criteria

Applicants for MBA admission at Kerala University will be shortlisted based on K-MAT/C-MAT/CAT scores. Shortlisted candidates will be called for a group discussion and personal interview. The university will then released a proviosnal rank list of selected candidates for counselling.

Candidates seeking admission to the MBA Programme of Kerala University can follow the below mentioned steps:

Visit the official website – keralauniversity.ac.in.
Click on “Online Admissions” and then select the MBA program
Click on “Apply Now” button
Register by providing your name, email, and phone number.
Enter Personal Details, Qualifying Examination details, and Options for various programs.
Download the challan from the candidate’s page. Remit the Registration Fee mentioned in the challan in any branch of State Bank of Travancore (SBI) and remit the fee.
Upload photograph and signature and Verify to complete the application form. Click on submit.
On successful completion of the online registration, the candidate should take the printout of the same.

Ans. Kerala University offers 2 kinds of reservations to deserving candidates i.e Mandatory Reservation and Special Reservation. Under Mandatory Reservation seats will be distributed in the following format:

Non-Kerala Candidate, whose name is in the rank list.
One foreign candidate is eligible as per relevant regulations for foreign students.
Arts Quota: Students who have won the titles of Kalathilakam or Kalaprathibha in University Youth Festivals in their Bachelor’s Programme, in any program of their choice provided that he/she is eligible for admission to that program.
One Sponsored candidate from Govt./R&D Institutions/Industries, with a minimum of 2 years of work experience.
Persons with Disabilities (PWD): One student with a disability of 40% or above when the sanctioned seats are below 25 and two students if the sanctioned seats are above 25.
Sports Quota: One seat shall be given for sportspersons over and above the sanctioned strength in each subject for MBA Programme.

Good institution for learning

Post graduation in business administration for understanding the concept and dimensions of a subject through in-depth learning. In our session, there were only 16 students. And we had about 5 faculty for each subject. All faculty were highly qualified and had expert teaching methods. There were model exams in each semester and easy to pass with organized study materials.

All the faculties in LMIMS is very good at teaching and they are very helpful to improve my skills and to achieve more results. Lecture sessions are supplemented with case studies, individual and team exercises, presentations, seminars, assignments, etc. The semester exams are conducted after 6 months of each semester.

My college experience

I chose this course to get a better job in the management field. Faculties are very supportive but they will be giving many works. Sometimes it will be too much for us. Term exams are as per the KTU but the management provides model examination even though when the exam is near. Sometimes it's too hard to keep up.
