Kerala University Distance Education FYUG 2024 Second Allotment is out for admission to BA, B.Sc, and B.Com programs. Selected candidates in the second allotment must pay the admission fee by June 22, 2024. The Third Allotment will be released on June 24, 2024.
About Kerala University Distance Education
The School of Distance Education, University of Kerala offers 25 programs, including UG and PG, through distance mode of learning under the departments of Humanities, Science, Commerce, Literature, Library & Information Science, and IT. The eligibility for UG courses is a pass in 10+2, while the same for PG courses is Graduation in a relevant field from a recognized university. Eligibility of the course is 50% mark in degree with any recognized university or institute from India are eligible to apply. Here admission process are very simple first you want to buy application form or download application form from college website here application forms are free and along with application form attached your degree certificate, school certificates and fee receipt that you pay thats it.

- Infrastructure of college is little bit old there are some old buildings still there.
- For the distance education students they don't provide placement or internship.
Admission:
Eligibility of the course is degree. Here admission process be like very simple first you want get application form from college office fill the form with the form attach your degree, 12th standard, T.C certificates if you have any reservation give that details along with application form then pay your application and semester fee. Finally application form, certificates and fee receipt hand over to admission office that's it. They want to avoid long queues in admission time that's area they want to improve.

- They are not provide proper mark while we write the exam in proper manner. I am expecting more than 90% in my exam

In distance education, we do not need any entrance exam to get admission. They prefer that student get more than 55% mark in their graduation so they are able to get admission to schools of distance education. The application process was so simple we needed to register on the school of distance education website submit qualifications details and fee amount of 750rs. the admission process so simple and they provide classes in both online and offline mode

- Infrastructure: The classrooms are furnished with essential amenities like water facilities and a reliable power supply. The seating arrangements are kept tidy and well-maintained

- There is no placement assistants for students. Moreover the amount of student dropouts are also increasing
- There is no hostel facility as well as basic infrastructure like chair, fan, etc. There is a small cafeteria with basic snacks but find it useful and worth

- The menu at the canteen would have been better.
- Missed a regular course campus life as there was only contact classes.

The curriculum is focused on providing leadership and management skills to students. Case studies and group discussions accompany the syllabus. Tests are application-oriented and test critical thinking.

I learned a lot while studying in this college. Many opportunities were provided to me to attend seminars and webinars organized by the college though I was pursuing education from distance learning. I would like to thank this college for giving me an amazing learning experience.
