Kashmir University Scholarship
Kashmir University provides several scholarships under different categories such as:
Merit Scholarship
Merit scholarship is awarded to the candidates on the basis of their marks obtained in last qualifying exams or entrance exam score. The scholarship is awarded to top two merit holders.
Research Scholarship
There are four scholarships in each Research Centre awarded for carrying out research leading to the award of Ph.D./ M.phil. In addition to this, it also payable annually for meeting miscellaneous expenses.
Students Aid
Kashmir University has also a scheme namely ‘Students Aid’, under this scheme a financial assistance is extended to candidates, especially meritorious students who come for low income groups. The Kashmir University Alumni Association also provides financial assistance to students with a poor economic background with preference being given to students who are orphans.

The college was good and the teachers are helping and the main facilities available in every room mostly of the students like the college and the fee structure maintain by kashmir University That is around 10000

- The most thing Which i like is the campus of the university. It very green and environment friendly.
- I also like the course which I have opted . I can do both masters and bachelors in only 5 years.
Dislikes
- The thing which I dislike is shifting of semesters from 6 months to only 4 months.
- The faculty is not that much good which I expected.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
The yearly fee of our course keeps changing .when we are making the admission process we have to give more fee in the first year around 19000.But in the next year we gave less fee than previous like 15000.
Likes
- Faculty Expertise : the professor are highly knowledgeable and approachable. their teaching methods is engaging and they offer valuable mentorship
- Infrastructure: its average i would say not bad but needs to get improved the library is good all books available
Dislikes
- No canteen facility at all we need a canteen in our campus its not available and its been a year without canteen.
- No sports activities no football or cricket or any major outdoor games dur to no ground in college its very small colllege in terms of land
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
the annual fee is 8000 totaling 32000 over the four-year course under the NEP policy the fee structure increases as per the inflation with time. the scholarships are available based on financial need and academic excellence
Likes
- There are atleast 50-60 gardens in the University campus, all of which have been kept in neat and clean conditions which allows people to sit and socialise in these gardens. Apart from gardens, the internship experience is quite good in our departmen
- The faculty of my department is very good but there are some teachers who do not deliver as they should. But at the same time there are others who deliver more fhan expected which balances out so I would say the faculty is quite good.
Dislikes
- The haphazard manner of the traffic regulation is one of the aspects which I dont like at our university. There are very less designated parking spots which forces students and faculty. to park at roadsides which is a very unaesthetic site.
- The campus placement is next to nil in the whole university while it has no existence in our particular department. There are only internship opportunities which too are in a very less number and do not do justice.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
There is no admission fees or any other unnecessary fees since it is a public institution. For my course, the tution fees is Rs. 11,875 but there is an examination and IT fees which is Rs. 2,025 for the first semester of the year and Rs. 1,725 for the second semester of the year. The fees has been the same for the three years I have been in this university and is not increasing. in todays day and age, I think our fees is a very small amount which means that people from all sections can take admission which is the beauty of this university.

- I liked the environment of college like the behaviour of seniors
- The teaching faculty is very good and all of teachers are highly qualified
Dislikes
- I don't think there is any thing about college to be disliked
- I donk think there is any thing to be disliked
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
I am in 2nd semester and I have paid total fee in 1st semester 8231 and same in 2 nd semester there is no specific fees more than this in the college. Fees of my batchmates was also same . There are a lot of scholarships in the college also reserved for categories
Likes
- The facility is very good. Teachers are always there gor you,
- You can visit the principals chamber anytime you want
Dislikes
- Boys and girls have separate lawns, Thats not good if you are studying in a co education college
- The washrooms are very dirty. There is not water & no sanitisation
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
We almost pay 8 thousand yearly. But for the students who are having category have less fees than the general ones. There are also some scholarships for the category students like post scholarships & so on. Almost every ug source have the same fee structure. But for the pg i may vary.

Hello dear reader Everything was good in college Yearly fee was 10000 plus 1500 exam fee... This yearly free included lab fee and other compulsory charges I was not having any category so.i don't know about this.. And I think some students were getting scholarship

- Our college is literally amazing. The class rooms, the seat arrangements, the labs, and washrooms, all are new. Our new building and front backyard, parks are totally best. The boys and girls ration is almost similar
- Generally we do not go for camping but the social interaction is must. And I love camping
Dislikes
- The relevance and rigor of the course curriculum to you personal and professional development
- The quality of the infrastructure including campus amenities and learning faculties
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
My college fee is ten thousand rupees ' it's for first and second semester's fee. The fee is according the subjects which I have choosen. Our tuition fee is 10k and my registration fee was 2000? and I registered online. The scholarship are provided in our college, every year according to the percentage of students

- The teaching faculty is brilliant .. the professor are well equipped with knowledge
- Main campus of ku is breathtaking and beautiful
Dislikes
- The focus on sports activities is less as compared to other universities
- The canteen facility in university also lags behind

I paid 9225rs for the course of master in arts political science I got the scholarship from nsp for 2 years ( 6000×2) Admission fee 9225 If u top University entrance exam you will get annually 12 thousand rupees

- The most rewarding aspect of the college is the opportunity to explore more academic interests and develop new skills.
- Engaging with professors and participating in events will surely help in expanding one’s knowledge and critical thinking abilities.
Dislikes
- One of the most difficult moments i faced was homesickness and adapting to new environment
- During my initial year , i struggled with academic workload. The pressure to succeed academically, while also trying to maintain a social life became overwhelming at times
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
University of kashmir offers various branches in btech like computer science and engineering , electronics and communications engineering , mechanical engineering, civil engineering and electrical engineering. The fee structure for all the branches is same i.e 40475 per academic year. The examination fee per academic year(includes 2 semesters ) varies between 4k-5k. There are reservations for the students of category st,sc ,management etc. Also the bus charges are 3000 a month. Plus hostel facilities are also available for the students from different regions.
