My two years at CUG

Likes

There were people with mixed culture, and that was the best part! Knowing new cultures, traditions, everything, was a plus point always.
All the PhD seniors were very helpful and kind, in any matter, whether it be clearing doubts realted to any practical or even guidance for end semester dissertation.

Dislikes

Canteen food, not much good and didnt have much variety and taste.

Campus Life:

Overall experience in CUG was wonderful! I met all the types of people, whether be good or weird. I made great friends, for life. And I did a lot of trips, Chai sessions, infinite dinner nights etc. Culturally it was an enlightening one. We had functions and events on every occasion, whether it be Ganpati visarjan, Ram Lalla sthapna, doing garba at Navratri or even watching INDIA vs PAK match on big screen in the common hall, with all the students together.

The campus life is not very happening and can be stagnant
It campus is small for now, not what one expects from a central university

Campus Life:

When talking about college life, there is a mental picture that comes to mind when picturing it, and when I talk about the campus life of central university of Gujarat, the university's campus life as I have stated earlier, isn't very happening and one has very little means for one's own entertainment and very means to get bored very easily and that is a very big drawback, because besides study, it's the campus life that makes a campus come alive. And there are no fests organised in the university besides major ones of course, and some related to the courses.

Likes

The campus life is serene and peaceful. The environment isn't polluted and there's plenty of greenery and peace of mind.
The faculty pan University is extremely helpful. They all are always ready to aid students regarding any issue.

Dislikes

The campus is a temporary one. A permanent campus is under construction near Vadodara. There could be more facilities, for e.g. better accomodation in the temporary campus.
The canteen could be better. They mostly provide vegetarian food and often non-vegetarian students struggle to fit in.

Campus Life:

The campus is a temporary one which is set in a semi-urban area of Gandhinagar, in Sector 29 and 30. The library is very well stocked and the facilities in the campus are also well maintained. There are wheel chair aids, water purifiers and informational boards at every corner. The campus is also lush and ornamented with great care. The student body has many clubs and groups like the Movie club or Badminton club. The facilities include a langauge laboratory, a library, a computer lab, gym, two canteens, parking area, lawns, seminar hall, conference hall and so on. The social life within the campus is unfortunately not very happening due to it's geographical location in a semi-urban campus. The city of Ahmedabad is roughly 25kms away and provides ample for options to let loose. The overall experience in the campus is peaceful.

Now campus is good and small so I know everyone like from another department also and that give me benefits to know other person's culture etc.
Gamming is also good in CUG, and people are also good they help each other.

Dislikes

Canteen.. now it is not good that much . My lots of friends having food poisoning by eating food from canteen.
University don't have its own playground.

Campus Life:

CUG family is very diverse, here students are from everywhere like from every state of India and some are from foreign also. Every type of national programme are celebrated here. Every festival etc. Around 23000 book a lots of ebooks and magazines are available in library. WiFi campus, 24 *7 light water etc ..this is A gread college so will get everything. Every year sport meet was arranged by college and in that approx every game is included. Now campus is small but in 2024 June college is shifting gandhinagar to vadodara and their everything will be available. ABVP is main student political party here and SFI is also working. In my 2 year of program I didn't see any fighting or like thing in University, safe from every side .

Campus Life:

Many events were conducted, mostly the college has student body organisations who conduct such events as far as I remember I visited a small book fair conducted by students furthermore, there were garba nights etc, Also faculties call upon international scholars and conduct seminars etc, overall a good college in terms of activities and social life

Campus Life:

There is no annual fest or tech fest held at the university. There are many books available in university as per demand. But they need to supply more books in the library. The classes are smart. There are smart classes in university. Annual sports are held once a year. There is no social group, clubs, or website for students run by students.

This is conducting so many fests and freshers parties, and this college had a good library, every book available in the library, and class rooms also good, sports extra circular activities also supporting the university, college was very encouraging the sports

A brief review about my college related to German language course.

Campus Life:

As currently, it is on the temporary campus which is smaller as compared to normal campuses but you can have your student life there. The University and student council organize Annual sports meet, Annual function, Garba night, and also there is a cultural fest every year. There are also other fest and conferences that are going with the Studies. There are some clubs like music and theatre which encourage students to take participate in extracurricular activities. Also, there is a library ann canteen on the campus itself.

Campus Life:

The understudy collection of cug has incredible decent variety in culture and convention. At cug, the understudies are given the opportunity to convey forward their customs and commend their celebrations in a simple way. Alongside the regular celebrations of Diwali, Holi, and so forth which are commended at an enormous scope, the understudies additionally praise their provincial celebrations with extraordinary intensity. They also have a number of extracurricular activities and a big library where students can spend time reading.

Campus Life:

In our university, there is a digital library. Top scientific and non-scientific journal access is free for all students, and it opens at 8 am in the morning and close at 12 am. Central Instrumental Facility, is available here. All type of instruments are here, and labs are also well-established. Hostel facility is available for all students.
