Course Curriculum Overview :

I wanted to pursue a master's degree in economics from a deemed university the faculty is extremely friendly, we can reach them in their cabin to talk on various topics relating to research doubts, and future plans and also discuss off-topic talks, along with being helpful our teachers also used to guide us in the steps to be taken in terms of exams competitive etc In total we had 5 t extremely qualified teachers, the department of Economics is known very well for its unity and non-political environment in the classroom the teachers are Phd holders while some are double Phd holders from imminent universities including from abroad as well and have teaching experience for at least 5-6 yrs or so one of our oldest teachers has 20 yrs + of experience in teaching We were provided with presentations, online book materials etc and notes on each topic we used to read and review and discuss and about them with our teachers in the classroom such that we could understand the topic completely

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees are less, hostel fees are 600 per month but the girl hostel feels like a luxury it's a 1bhk flat kind of for every 5 girls, there is a kitchen in each room bathroom in the room along with a geyser for hot and cold water both, electricity is always there, lift etc and the hostel is situated in an IT park ( Infocity) so luscious greenery is present with the market area nearby, extremely safe environments for girls, as such Gandhinagar is such a place were cameras are installed on every road so women are safe. But do not expect any jobs from campus or on campus there are none being a central govt college, one can try for part times in the city for financial assistance but from campus its rare

Campus Life :

Many events were conducted, mostly the college has student body organisations who conduct such events as far as I remember I visited a small book fair conducted by students furthermore, there were garba nights etc, Also faculties call upon international scholars and conduct seminars etc, overall a good college in terms of activities and social life

Hostel Facilities :

there were 2 types of girls hostels one in Infocity and other at NICM since we did not have a permanent campus it was provided like this, I got into Infocity ( mostly all masters student+ Phd) get in there, hostel rooms were posh with will electricity, an housemaid who daily cleans our rooms and lifts bathrooms in the room ( shared by 5 students), kitchen, proper ventilation, cupboard, drawers, tables, chairs, curtains etc all for just 600 rs per month, as I mentioned its temporary so I do not know of future when the campus would shift to permanent one, food facility mess is not there, one such mess did tie up there but the students did not like the food quality so everyone opted out of it, however, one could do lunch and dinner at college canteen, they did provide a good deal of meal with rice roti sabzi dal, chess etc at 50rs and roti sabzi at 30 rs enough for a stomach too full or one could individually cook also at the room it was allowed (Infocity), also bus services provided

Admission :

I got in through the CUCET examinations in 2020, and the admission process was easy and smooth, after getting my score I applied to the college admission portal, which considered all student's marks and scores and created respective merit lists according to the subject if one finds their names on the list they are reached by official email also calls from CUG and they guide on how to pay admission fees and one can easily get admission there, the mentor's teachers and office staffs are really cordial so one might not face much hazy admission process There is no direct application form, one has to go through the central university entrance examination test the process being very organised I do not think there need to be any such changes but if the university/ central ministry feels so they could

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is not a particular subject specific. It's interdisciplinary in nature. If anybody is interested in pursuing higher education, this is the course. For society and culture, there are not many exams. There are assignments.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is at par, or I'd say even better than what most universities offer in India. It is equipped with very contemporary and up-to-date texts which are very relevant today. The teaching methods vary from individual teachers, but they all share the same enthusiasm and intellectual strength to guide students. Assessment is divided into End-sems (50 marks), Mid-terms (25 marks), Term Paper (15 marks) and an assignment (10 marks). The teachers prepare the students to be critically ready for any sort of questions. They also employ technological aids for their pedagogy. The only improvement I can suggest is that the department needs to organise field trips or funded excursions to academically relevant areas.

Placement Experience:

Placements do come and most likely to take master students, but also if bachelor's want to opt placement they can be it on or off campus. There's are good CTC provided and for a fresher it can be good start in the professional world. The highest package can go to 8 or 9 LPA to average 5LPA. Almost 90% to 95% students get placed. I would also like to sit for placements in coming year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My interest had always been inclined more towards understanding in depth about 'what is history'. In my bachelor's training, I was quite interested in history lectures and hence took up the research thesis to explore further. This all gave me clarity on what I really would like to pursue further. The class strength is 12. We have our tutor as well as teaching associate with whom group discussions, as well as individual discussions, happen on at regular basis. 1:12 All the faculties allocated have a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, with master's qualification. End-semester reviews at cept are quite unique as there are no written exams. It is mostly graded on the level of our understanding, how in-depth we have got into research and our final outcome.
