One of the very best thing about its location , it's best place all thing there , college started with highway by front gate and ended by a station named sarswati Nagar it's hault but you can take train for here anytime to Raipur
There will be 100% placements in our college.The very best core companies like ONGC, HPCL and Aditya Birla etc are placement providerspro

Dislikes

And hostel food is just worst as South Indian we cannot eat North indian food
College timming is too bad its from morning 9 to evening 5

Placement Experience:

From 6th Sem, you are eligible for placements. Infosys airtel much such company visited. The electrical highest package is 29 lakh and in IT it's 48 lakh. This year one of our senior got 62 lakh placement. CS IT 100% placement. I am planning to do M.Tech.

NIT is a type of National Important college so There getting seat not so easy by the way not to tough.Getting seat It depends upon entrance exam marks . Every one want to join best college according to JEE exam not like that what they alloted those are the choice to join.

Hostel facilities should be improved so that all students can stay in hostels at present only some students got hostels and remaining students have to rent a room and many hard ships are to be faced by them and it is very expensive one.

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-

Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.

Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.

Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and

idea-sharing with them is negligible.

Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.

Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.

Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.

Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.

Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
