Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya provides hostel facilities with a capacity for approximately 836 boys and 436 girls. The hostels are well-furnished, with each room accommodating two students and including beds, study tables, chairs, and almirahs. Hostels are allocated based on merit, and fees range from Rs. 6,000 to Rs. 12,000 per year, with a refundable caution deposit.

The mess fee is around Rs. 3,370 to Rs. 12,070, depending on the hostel, and includes four meals a day. However, food quality is frequently criticized. Facilities include 24-hour Wi-Fi, power backup, clean washrooms, and common areas such as TV rooms and libraries. Separate hostels exist for juniors and seniors.

Despite some issues with food quality, the infrastructure is generally noted as good, providing a secure and conducive environment for students.
