Dibrugarh University B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates should have passed the 12th class examination in the 10+2 in PCM from a recognized Board with a minimum of 50% marks in each subject and 45% marks for the SC &ST categories.
  • Candidates belonging to the region of Assam must have passed the CEE Assam (Engineering) or JEE Mains for a candidate outside the State of Assam.
  • The candidate must not be above 21 years or below 17 years of age but there is a relaxation of 3 years for SC/ST candidates.

  • Admission to the B.tech courses will be based on the candidates performance in JEE Main or Assam CEE examination. 
  • Candidates clearing the cut off will have to sit for a counselling process conducted by the University itself. 
  • After the declaration of University results, shortlisted candidates called on the basis of the merit list.

  • Register by clicking on the “Register Button” provided on the Portal. 
  • Provide your Mobile No. and set a password while registering. Your provided mobile no. will be verified through an OTP.
  • Login using the set Password.
  • Click on the “Apply” button Corresponding to the link of the desired program. The application form will open
  • Fill out the Application form carefully by providing all the necessary details.
  • Click on “Submit and Review”. Preview all the details carefully, if something is wrong, candidates are advised to correct it at this stage.
  • Click on “Pay Now and Submit the Application”, if you have carefully reviewed all the details.
  • An application fee of INR 1000/- needs to be paid online through a Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Internet Banking.
  • On successful payment of the Application fee, the Application form will be finally considered as Submitted.
  • Click on the “Download” button and download the Submitted Application form. Also, take the printout for future use.
