Green campus: BIT MESRA have large area of campus with greenary around all over, its very peaceful to walk and after stressful day of engineering life, this walk gives peace
Big library : the library collection comprises hybrid resources in the field of science and technology, engineering, pharmacy, management and hotel management. The library also has a separate internet section.

Dislikes

Attendance : Faculties are very strict about there attendence and if someone fail to get 65% attendence due to whatever reason they dont allow to them to pass the subject and make students sit for short sem exams whose fees is 1/3rd of college fees.
Bit mesra campus have no boundary, so they dont allow students to go out of the hostel in night after 11. So there is no system of libraries for 24 hours, so for the students who studies in night, dont get the facilities of library.

Placement Experience:

From 5th sem onwards students get internship and from 7th sem onwards, students are eligible to sit for placement exams. Many companies visit the campus from core to it sector then consultancy companies too. If student have decent gpa and skills they can get placement but for good pay, students need to work on their resume, skills and result. Average salary varries from branch to branch, fon non circuital branch Average salary is 9-10 LPA. nearly 75% of students get placed.

The campus in terms of greenery. It is a lush green campus .
The faculty usually don't care of what you do outside of classroom .

Dislikes

The food that we get in the mess as its too substandard.
The absence of student body as faculty you cannot oppose the faculty

The curriculum for civil engineering is up to date with the latest standards.The curriculum is adequate to apply for any competitive exam in the civil engineering domain.Exams and however are frequent.The difficulty of the subjects are usually equivalent to the general toughness of the subjects . The faculty teaching a subject may affect the difficult of the subject.

If you're in Core Branch then you have to manage time and prepare for GATE. Internship offers are good in this college but if you are dedicated for the government job then you can just pass in semesters and work hard for prepare for GATE

Good Internship Opportunities are offered from the college side.

Intake of students is very high and is increasing yearly
Many professors need the bookish answer in semester exams.

As I have chosen Civil Engineering which has good Internship Opportunities in this college. Course Curriculum is not good and Teaching Methods of some Professors are good as per my experience. Labs are well equipped for all Branches of B.Tech

The curriculum is very good and updated at regular intervals .The syllabus is exactly as per the industry requirements . There are two exams per semester one midsem and one end sem and 8 semesters for the btech course.

Infrastructure and college life and libraries

No night library facility and ni night canteen

Placement is very good as there is training and a Placement cell which is very active and brings most of the big companies. Alumni are also very active which helps get students internship opportunities easily.

The lush green campus with parks and lawns feels good.
One can play any sport here woth all the facilities provided here along with gyms.

The hostels should be single occupancy after the first year.
The mess food is not of the best quality and after time you start disliking it.

Classroom is big and we have projector so it is easy for us to understand.
Lab classes helps us in getting the practical knowledge

Dislikes

There is no fencing of college boundary .
We have to share a room . This is for the first students only

Placement Experience:

Average placement for the civil department is 10 lakhs which is comparably good from othe college .There are many companies which came like Amazon, Flipkart ,Google, etc.Highest package was 85lakhs from computer and science department .
