  • Almost all students usually secure a job offer by the time of their master's graduation if they are not willing to pursue a PhD.
  • 25 to 30,000 pounds per annum is the salary.
  • Networking and online job portals are the main modes of securing a job, as there are no campus placement methods here. Most students individually job hunt and approach employers well before their graduation.
  • They mostly have been working under a company that has agreed to sponsor their master's at UCL on the condition that they join under them full-time after graduation.
  • GSK and AstraZeneca are the main companies that come for campus recruitments.

  • I am renting an independent property off-campus and I found it through an online platform called Imperial Housing Solution.
  • 650 pounds, Wi-Fi included. Utilities are not included.
  • I had to pay 6 months rent upfront due to a lack of a UK-based guarantor.
  • Do not opt for campus accommodation, as it is much costlier and smaller in size.
  • 25 minutes. Campus accommodation or private student accommodations.

  • The percentage of students getting jobs is very low and I’m not aware of the exact percentage as well.
  • Mostly students want to go back to their home countries and some want to work but not in the UK. The average salary range starts at 25000 pounds annually.
  • The process of finding jobs is not very complicated but requires a lot of patience. Apply to all the sites, subscribe, keep applying on LinkedIn, and start applying early. For example, 6-7 prior to the last date of your course.
  • Give interviews at least one or two days per week.
  • Major companies are
    • UK government site
    • Indeed
    • Total Jobs

  • I opted for student accommodation through my university portal. It was not very challenging for me as I applied in university portal and got my accommodation.
  • The monthly rent is around 13000 pounds.
  • My accommodation is very safe and it takes around 30 minutes to reach my accommodation. Most of the Indians stay in wembley but it depends on the location of the accommodation and most of the students opt for private housing as it is cheaper than student accommodation.

  • Almost everyone secures a job after masters or they go for PhD . So it's a win win thing here.
  • There are no on campus recruitments here. You just have to apply on websites online and give interview.
  • Build a reliable network to go back to during your course.
  • Many companies hire graduate program. I know of NHS as I am personally targeting NHS for future opportunities.

  • I took private accomodation. I had a couple of friends already living here so they helped me with finding the accomodation and managing everything before I arrived here.
  • Many Indian students who don't have any contact prefer staying in student accomodations as they are safe and reliable. So if you are new and don't know much about UK it's better to choose student accommodation as it's much easy to get scammed here.

Post study placement is good but i haven't made an in-depth study on that so it will be difficult for me to make any comments but the University has a great prestige associated with its name.

Its very good university and its 8th in ranking all other the world. It was a honour for me to make in such a University also I had my brother studying in the same university so things in that University turned out to be pretty convenient for me.

There is a careers service which can help with finding places to apply and writing applications but not many post-study placements are granted. There is no hiring out of university and considerable individual effort needs to be made to apply for jobs.

The factors that drove me to accept the offer were: World ranking, campus and location, well-rounded course structure related to all branches of Psychology, focus on scientific aspect of Psychology. What I liked most about University was the social aspect in terms of clubs and societies, and the focus on providing a well rounded Psychology background and the practical work we did. These factors also led me to choosing this particular program.

We have the most prominent and respectful percentage of graduates securing jobs within six months after graduating from our University. Its like 85%>

UCL is a brand and successfully securing a place in this university was a dream come true for me. I have my elder brother who graduated from this university and is doing well in his life.
