Remarks :

Positive remarks are: Good faculty. Well equipped labs. Variety of extra curricular and co curricular activities. Good campus environment. There are many organizations branches like IEEE ASME TRACE. Negative: Total area of our campus is small.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is not that easy but if you are ready to work you can easily get it. The exam structure is fair exams are conducted by KTU, if you fail to score minimum credits you could be in trouble.

Placement Experience :

Many IT company come to the college for placement drives. IAM also hopping to get placed this academic year. Our college provide many co curricular activities such as internship,workshops, techno cultural fest etc.

College Events :

The major events conducted are: Aaroh- it's our techno cultural fest and it lasts for 3 days it's a national level program. Sports fest as the name suggest it's for games like football badminton basketball etc. Athletics and many other celebrations for onam Holi etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is divided into 3 category they are: Merit- students user merit have a small amount as fee and can get many scholarships. Management- students under this category have an average fee around 70000.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Students of our college can avail many scholarships mainly e grand and many scholarships for students under minorities. It is easy to apply for scholarships. They are given mainly based on annual income and rank

Campus Life :

Extra curricular activities include Nss, Arts, sports, photography etc. Labs of our college are well equipped to make the most out of the students. They have most modern equipments. And there is no restrictions in using them

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel infrastructure is average and economical. Food is average. the time to enter is before 7 in the evening. Hostel staff are also good but many students stay at different places at there own risk

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni association of our is growing. It has some benefits for the college. Some senior students are very helpful and they contribute their best for many programs. they are helpful for conducting some of the activities

Admission :

At first I wrote kerala engineering entrance exam(keam) then I was on the merit list. After giving few options to different colleges I got admitted in my college. It is all done through the keam website. After getting allotment I got admission there.

Faculty :

The faculty are well supporting. They are very helpful in studies. They are always willing to clear any doubts raised by the students. Faculty are very helpful in conducting extra curricular activities.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
