Remarks :

There are many positive remarks including the labs, faculty etc. The only negative point that I personally think is the campus area is not huge it's just enough. Due to this lack of area it is difficult to conduct some programs

Course Curriculum Overview :

College is under ktu so the curriculum is made by ktu. Exam structure is fairly moderate.Final result include both university exam marks and series test results. So the final result is a sum of these two also 75% attendance is mandatory

Placement Experience :

Many companies come to the college for placement drive almost 40%students form every batch get placed in well reputed companys. The college doesn't provide any internship but helps the students to do internship at any place they want.

College Events :

The major events celebrated in our college are mainly a national level tech fest Aaroh it is the largest event conducted by our college every year. Other events include sports, athletics,games, arts onam etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure can be divided into 3 category. Merit students can have a fee of 35000 rupees per year. Management students have a fee of 65000 rupees per year. Nri students have around 1lakh rupees per year. Also students can avail many scholarships

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are many scholarships mainly egrand and other scholarships. They can be availd by submitting an application if you are eligible for scholarship. Educational loans are not provided by the college but they help for getting loans from bank.

Campus Life :

There are many extra curricular activities including dance , music, photography etc. Labs are excellent I would say even the lab technician need few days to get familiar with all equipments. Sports also play a great role there are many inter college events

Hostel Facilities :

Hostal infrastructure is very poor. Hostels are not well maintained. Most of the students stay in there own place taken for rent. Rate of hostal is about 5000 rupees per month. Food is average only men's hostel is available

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors are very helpful they give guidance and also helps in conducting many events. There is an active alumni association of our college so if there is anything that they can do they will be there.

Admission :

Admission is based on the merit list by keam. So there is an entrance exam and you have to apply for different courses of your choice if you are in the merit list. Everything is through keam website so it's very simple and easy

Faculty :

Our college is well maintained have good atmosphere students are active labs , faculty and all other supporting factors are excellent. Faculty are very helpful friendly ready to clear any doubts made by the students.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
