Remarks :
There far as I've known the only downside is that, being an private institutions the management has the right to decide what to do similar to dictatorship, the students doesn't have the rights to be the acting body to decide and take actions.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is mainly splits into 4year with 8 semester. As far as I know it's the best way for the proper management of time for preparing exams and vaction balancing out correctly. So balancing this is really hard, and at times were the nature goes in the opposite way like this time.
Placement Experience :
The college being one of the finest institutions in the state provides the highest figures as per as placement are concerned. They provide you the state of the art technology for you to familiarise and to know the technological developments being made around the globe.
College Events :
The college provides or we facilitate the programs being conducted during the course. The program could be divided into two were one would be technical and second being arts. The events being conducted should be pre-presented to the management by the students committee which are selected by the students and facilities hand in hand.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Comparing to other institutions out there, being a private owned the fees structure could be a pain and those with deep pockets would fined it understandable since the range of technology and facilities brought out by the management for the students but others would find this hard to pay off landed in educational loans and debts.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As far as I've known there are scholarship being provided by the management during the admission time, were it could be of 12th marks or Entrance marks. This could be selected by the top 3 of every batch with the highest marks would be taken into consideration and they would be awarded discount for the fee payment.
Campus Life :
Starting from academic activity we are provided the 3 labs during each sem, as the higher you go from sem to sem , the deep you go into the branch with the labs. Presently into the s5 or 5th sem , I'll be dealing with electronics in specific electrical and microprocessor and microcontroller labs. Each labs contains lab exam with viva at the end of the sem , this would be out of 100 marks each.
Alumni/Alumna :
As far as I've known the alumni or the passed out students from our college provides extra workshops which enable students like us to get hands on experience with the technology that wouldn't be possible with the existing circular provided with KTU.
Admission :
Initially I attended the entrance test (KEAM), but I got less marks because I wasn't good in MCQs , landing in 98 marks out of 600 or something like that. After that I've applied for their merit based seats but out of sheer luck it was based on PCM( Physics, chemistry and Maths), so after everyone taking all the seats, the only option I had was IT and AEI(present branch). I initially thought that IT would be preferably my choice since I was consistently in touch with tech world but little did I knew that it had no scopes , so my choice immediately landed in AEI. And then here I'm loving this branch enjoying the versatility it provides.
Faculty :
The faculty being provided by the college does wonders, they really try to bring out everything in us without being too stressful and annoying at the same time. I've seen this situation at some college were the management stresses the faculty then which results in stressing out the students. This really has a adverse effect on students.
