Course Curriculum Overview :

The college is a part of APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. The curriculum is a little tough and deep when compared to other universities. There are enough and very good faculties when compared to students. Exams are held on time.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 12000 per year

Placement Experience :

From the third year onwards campus placement will get started. The college provides training at the technical behavioral (communication) level which is really helpful for students. The number of students who got placed are getting increased day by day.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The average fee to study at Government engineering college Kozhikode is around 36000 for four years. There are several scholarships for those who are economically and socially backward students. We need to apply for those at the correct time.

Campus Life :

Every year our campus hosts tech fest, art fest, sports, etc. There is one tech fest named Lakshya conducted in our college. That is a well-arranged wonderful fest. Arts fest and sports are also conducted for promoting student's extracurricular activities.

Admission :

For getting admission we must need 50% or above marks in 12 standards. Cut-off marks in the Keam entrance examination also need to be obtained. I got admission after spot allotment. It was very tough to obtain admission at that time.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
