All things are good in this college this college is my life.I spent my 3 year in this college nicely.All teachers are helping nsture.They clear doubts at chamber. infastracture also good.college also give free GATE coaching.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Pmec BERHAMPUR comes under BPUT university. Total 8 semester exam available for fresh students.6 semester exam available for LE students.Practical,theory, seminar, project all things available.There are 4 credit and 3 credit paper also 1credit for practical.Two internal exam done by college each 15 mark.Quiz also 10 mark and assignments 10 mark total 50 mark send by college.also 50 mark send for practical exam.Semester main exam paper contain 100 mark.
Placement Experience :
This year 40 students are placed in different companies like Wipro, TCS,TATA,vedanta,CEAT etc. From ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING.College give internship facilities to all students all students are taking this advantages.College select few students send them to different IIT for internship amd takeing all expenditure of students under TEQIP scheme.I take this advantage and done internship at PARDIP PORT TRUST ,ELECTRICAL DIVISION.
College Events :
REPUBLIC DAY, Independence day,Ganesh puja,saraswati puja,Biswakarma puja,Annual sports,Annual Function,Techfest etc. Annual function is the main event in our college 4days celebrated.Each day different celebrities are invited for performance. A grand free lunch provided by college during annual function.All students and faculties are enjoy this event.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee structure is moderate because it is a govt. Engineering college.Total 33000 admission fee and 10000 for University Registration fee.Each year you give 30000 thousand for tution fee and 1500 for semester Registration fee.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There are different scholarship for meritorious students like Emedhabruti another scholarship for SC,ST,OBC,SEBC students are KALIA SCHOLARSHIP, PRERANA SCHOLARSHIP, NIRMAN SHRAMIK SCHOLARSHIP etc.Emedhabruti 10k each year,prerana 15k each year,Kalia this year lunched not known,Nirmana sharmika 40k.
Campus Life :
class time is 8am to 5pm after that all students are participate in extracurricular activities like singing song,drawing,dancing all things freely available. all labs are available and all equipments in running conditions.A open gym available for all students. Library available for book reading and taking to hostel.It is beneficial for poor students. A reference hall present all take advantage of it.
Hostel Facilities :
I stay in hostel.Hostel selection done by merit besis.For govt. Hostel they take 13360 rupees hostel fee for a year and mess fee 12000 for each 6 month.For off campus hostel it is around 72 thousand.
Alumni/Alumna :
Our college is a 9 year college.I think there is no alumni.All senior students are like brothers and sisters.They teach us at hostel when we face doubt.No raging done by seniors.Seniors guide freshers.
Admission :
There are two way take admission in PMEC,BERHAMPUR. For +2 science students give JEE(MAIN) entrance and for Diploma students they give OJEE entrance.According to their rank they selected for admission.Reservations available for SC,ST,TFW, PH students.
Faculty :
All faculty are good and student friendly they take regular classes both theory and practical.They give their all effort to students.If they see syllabus not complete within time line they ask for extra classes.All lectures are highly qualified.
