Remarks :

If anyone wants to make some negative remark, he can get only one thing- the institute doesn't have any play ground. The positive thing is, college authority takes feedback every month and they tried to fulfill all the demands of us. The demand of a play ground is also in discussion.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is as per the schedule of MAKAUT. This college is approved by AICTE and affiliated to MAKAUT. The faculties are very helpful to students. In first 2 semesters, all the students learn the basics, then they enter to the EE department, and learns the subjects of Electrical Engineering.

Placement Experience :

We have our Training and Placement Cell, known as TPO cell, and the TPOs (Training and Placement officers) are very helpful to us. We all get opportunity of getting selected by a company, many of us secured a job in an MNC. They also groom us to get selected in an organisation.

College Events :

There are all types of activities done. The technical club Megatronix, organise two Tech-fests, one is intra-college, another is Paridhi, inter- college tech fest. The musical Sargam organises events on music. The cultural club YUVA organises cultural fest every year. The social workers from Rotaract club of MSIT organises blood donation camp, flood relief camp etc. And the sports club organises sports events. All those activities run in parallel with studies.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Not expensive, the fee structure is as per the rule of MAKAUT. The students can opt for loan separately, and if the family income of any student is very less, their tution fee is waived partially or fully as per their need, by verifying their financial conditions.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Financially week students can get tution fee waiver known as TFW, as per their WBJEE rank. The college itself also give this facility to the needful students. They also keep the names of the students secret, of those who get this type of scholarship. All these things also kept secret to the faculties also.

Campus Life :

Extracurricular activities done by the students are really extraordinary. The sports club organises sports events like MSL, MCL every year. MSL stands for MEGHNAD SAHA SOCCER LEAGUE and MCL stands for MEGHNAD SAHA CRICKET LEAGUE. But all those events happens in the nearby ground as this college has no play ground

Alumni/Alumna :

We have very good interaction with our seniors and alumni students. They also tell us about rising opportunities. Sometimes they tell us about the ongoing demand for the market, something they helps us for our projects.

Admission :

I've appeared for WBJEE in 2015, secured a rank of 8109 in Unreserved category. Then I opted for the e-counseling process of WBJEEB. I opted for Electrical Engineering stream, as I've heard about the faculties from alumni of this college.

Faculty :

Al the faculties are very generous, polite, and also strict to the students. They taught us our subjects in such a way that anyone can understand what's going on. After teaching, they asked us questions and if anyone feels any difficulty, they discuss the topic again. Also there some feedback session and doubt- clearing sessions happened in every month to make the learning better

Overall a Standard College; have parallels to its parent college FIEM

Placement Experience:

At the end of the 6th Semester many MNCs and startups like CTS, TCS, Virtusa, Wipro, etc visit our campus for internship opportunities as well as pre-placement offers. Most of the students do crack some or other internship opportunities and get in-hand industry experience. For our batch the highest offer we received is 7LPA and the average package ranges at about 4.5 - 3.5LPA ! Almost everyone does get placed, but the average ranges at about 70%-80%.
