DTU is an amazing engineering college!!

I always wanted to pursue a new engineering and with the way people are admitting in CSE, I felt AE as a better option. Not just better but we learn things which are required to build hardware and also a mix of mechanics too.

Siemens, Patel Engineering, CESC and many such corporates and some new age start-ups too have joined hands with DTU toh train it's students get over the line through internships. 10-15k is what we are paid at internships if in Delhi or outside of Delhi 20-25k was offered.

At DTU, placements may start from final year but placements are good. The main reason is almuni network as it has grown so rapidly in last few years. The kind of practical approach that our college has jobs are always available be in on campus or off campus.

I joined DTU in 2020, the year of lockdown. That time the fees was 2.05 lakhs and by 2024 it became 2.29 lakhs. The fees was not hefty at all given the standard that DTU has. One of the best engineering college in entire Delhi after IIT Delhi.

Engee is Delhi's biggest fest and it happens at DTU. It is one of the biggest college in terms of area too as besides engineering there's a management college too inside the campus. Sports we have football ground, cricket ground, kabbadi arena and volleyball court as well.

IITs were dream and even DTU entrance looked far fetched because my rank was low. Hence I had to chose a low ranked branch which is unpopular but with entrance and then counselling for Delhi Engineering colleges is how I got admission here.

At DTU not just the incumbent but many new age professors have been added as modern courses requires contemporary professors. Automative engineering which I am pursuing is one of the toughest and is unique too and one of such unique faculty is Daksh Mahajan who is my favourite professor.

For night life Cafe Dem & Bar are among the top restaurant. Otherwise DTU cafe is more than sufficient which is inside the campus. It's huge and also has a nice ambiance. Opposite of Rithala Station there's Adventure Island which is a great tourist attraction.
