Government polytechnic Kashipur - A way to Success

I choose this branch because I had a keen interest related to construction , items used in construction , how to build up a building . I am currently in first year but I am sure that the curriculum will prepare us for real word applications like setting up a building , bridge , etc. there is nothing such to improve more.

At the end of 5th semester , Many companies offer placements . As a student of civil engineering 1st year, I don't have much knowledge about the company. Highest package was about 12 lakh. My plan is to become a junior engineer

My self vatsal joshi and I am from almora , uttarakhand. In 2024 I joined Government polytechnic Kashipur college and opted civil branch. Believe me it was the best decision of my life. The teachers of this college are excellent. I found all the students very amazing and labourious . This college gives the best industrial exposure for the future of the students. Teachers also encourage to participate in many sports events. I myself didn't had the stage confidence, but my English teacher made me full confident to speak in front of people . I am very thankful to everyone who recommended me this college and very thankful to my teachers too. As far I remember the college fees was nearly about 15000 per annum , and the hostel fees was 4000 rupees. I don't know much about scholarships. At last I just want to say that this is the best polytechnic college of Uttarakhand. Thank you

Sometimes the fest are held in the college. I didn't attended any fest because I was out of station at the time. The books are easily accessible in the library. Now a day online books are also available in our mobile phone. Zonals are held in the college for sports. They are very exciting.

We are provided with many facilities such as almirah, fans , electricity, beds , comfort , freedom. The meal which we get is healthy. Hostel is easily affordable. There are no such problem towards affording hostel.

I just only applied for this college and got this college in my first counselling. Not every college has these good teachers, a great exposure , labs and instruments. Ubter organizes exam through which we get admission in polytechnic college of Uttarakhand. I don't know much about the cut off. Admission is so easy process

In civil engineering, there are 42 students in the class and for those 42 children there is a teacher. So the faculty to student ratio is 1 ratio 42. The faculties are easily approachable. They always help us even if they are busy. The faculty I like the most is our English teacher . She teaches so well . There are no such faculties which I don't like. There are not much exams , there are monthly exam , then midterm and then final. Exam level is nearly moderate. Still some students fail.

No there was nothing any group discussion interview . I gave the written test which was organised by ubter. The paper was so easy and it was about the level of class 10th. Anyone would score good marks in that paper.

As our college is surrounded by many trees , the environment of the night is pretty cool. There are many gym nearby , and canteens are also attached with the hostel. Digital library is not yet open. We can roam anywhere in the hostel till 9:00 p.m. in the night . The nearby temple is my favourite place to visit in.
