RIT Group of Institutions was established under the charitable institution Aditya Charitable Trust to provide education in the field of Engineering and Pharmacy. It is affiliated to UBTER, UTU and HNBUMU. The Institution is also approved by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). RIT Group of Institutions ranks No.1 college in Uttarakhand. 

RIT Group of Institutions offers paramedical courses like Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology and Bachelor of Medical Radio Diagnosis and Imaging Technology. It also offers pharmacy courses like D.Pharma & B.Pharma and Diploma courses in the field of engineering like Civil Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc.

RIT Group of Institutions offers a number of scholarship to the meritorious and desrving students. Some of the scholarship offered by the institute is listed below:

• Merit Scholarship for Diploma First Year student

• Merit Scholarship for Diploma (Lateral Entry) student

• Merit Scholarship for Degree Program

• ​State Govt. Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC Candidates

Students belonging to the SC/ST community and their family income is below INR 2.5 Lakh per Annum is eligible for the scholarship. Also, Students belonging to the OBC community and their family income is below INR 1 Lakh per Annum is eligible for the scholarship. 

• Aditya Charitable Trust Merit Scholarships

The Scholarship is offered to the meritorious students who have topped in the UBTE examination. Under this scholarship, the students in each branch is offered INR 5000 as scholarship.

• Sh.Om Prakash Bansal Foundation Scholarships

The students who have topped the 10^th board examination are eligible for the scholarship. Under this the students is provided with free education for 3 years.
