Girls to boys ratio are like 1:3 on my class.

Admission:

I choose this college because when the time of admission the Government Polytechnic Dehradun was at the top college between other Polytechnic colleges in Uttarakhand. The admission process is same as other colleges and universities you have to give a entrance exam known as Jeep and after the result your rank will be given to and you have to apply on a different college in a counselling and if you get the seat you can take admission on that college.

Likes

College campus was quite big, playing ground were available!

Dislikes

No bus facility are available for students who are coming for far places
Sports items are not available for students.
Labs infrastructure are not that good !!

Admission:

This College holds rank 1 in state thats why I choose to do my diploma form here. In order to get civil branch here in this college one should get rank under 100 -200 otherwise , you can also go for other branches.

Dislikes

No facility for students to play, and no facility for outdoor activities

Admission:

So to enter this course one must have completed his or 10 classes (mandatory) and 12 classes (optional ), one has to first fill out the form on the website, forms are usually out in April the fee is 200 rs and exams happens in May and the results are declared in 1 or 2 weeks and then you have to go through Counseling in which you select your college and thats it, I didn't avail any reservation benefits. The frequency of exams is also good, neither too much nor too low, and time given is also sufficient for preparation and the difficulties level is moderate, not too hard, the area in which they can improve is the admission process, it is not that smooth, and one have to roam so much just to get admission, it should all be done in one place

College has parking, its own playground which is now converting into a mini Stadium hostel facility is also available at affordable hostel fees
The College is easily accessible for students, it is located in pithuwala nearby shimla bypass, shimla road. ISBT is easily reachable.
Extra curricular activities and fests are organised time to time

Dislikes

Most of the Equipments and machines are old and some of them are not working.
College timing is 10 am to 5 pm which may be hectic for students.

Admission:

You should have passed intermediate with physics, chemistry, Biology or maths. You have to fill JEEP entrance exam form from UBTER website. Application fees is around 800- 1000 rupees. You can get reservation benefits as per your catagory. Entrance exam is conducted by UBTER once per year Their is no negative marking so difficulty level is mild to moderate.

Admission:

You have to clear high school with at least 60% marks including science and mathematics as major subjects. For Lateral Entry in engineering, you have to clear Intermediate with at least 60% with PCM subject or ITI in any trade with 60% marks. For admission, you have to appear for the Uttarakhand JEEP exam and have to score well in it from which you will get a good percentage and a good rank by which you can easily get your favorable branch. GPD BEST POLYTECHNIC IN UTTARAKHAND

Admission:

There is a state level entrance exam called jeep. Admission on college based on ranking in state. There is online counseling for choosing branch and college.Top ranker first choice is my college. Minimum qualification to enroll is high school pass. But my college enrollment is based on higher rankings in entrance exam. There is schorlship scheme for lower class student also seat are reserved for them.
