Course Curriculum Overview

4

Curriculum decide is very effective and well designed, in my curriculum relevant things to computer science are included and modern topic are also inculcated to make us job ready. Topic like machine learning and data Structures arre included right from the first semester and other things are also there to make our problem solving and logical thinking skills good. Curriculum design and topic is very relevant for real world application and also open many new ways for us to go in different domains. The course design make us very ready for career exploration and excellence also. it touches different topics making it very relevant. Area of improvement can be practical implementation should be more in course rather than theory , teaching methods also can be improved to focus more on this by doing implementation and thinking part more in class. The frequency and time of exam is very good according to difficulty, theory are 4 times exams in a year (2 semester) Each semester has mid sem and end sem.

Internships Opportunities

4

There are many internship opportunities available around college, there is a very good internship sip that is offered from college and it is a very good opportunity that offer role like website manager, data Management, file handler and etc ranging from technology to Management and offer stipend from 5k per month to 35k per month. Also there are many on campus and out campus internship like drdro , Delhi police , isro and also private firms like Google, microsoft offer roles like software manager, lead management etc that gives stipend and also a learning experience.

Placement Experience

4

From 7 th semester students are eligible for placements and for making them placement ready internship start from college in 5th semester. Many national and international companies including tech and non tech visit our college like Microsoft, atlassian, google , tics, Maruti etc and the offers made this year in total is around 1.2k. This year highest package is 80lpa and average package is 13.6 lpa of my branch.

Fees and Financial Aid

Actually the fee for each year in four years of btech is different, for first year it is 236700(paid) in which 155000 is tution fees and rest is examination fees, ews fund , service fees, student welfare fee and dtu medical fees. Dtu scholarship is there for financially low background students in which there is 100% and 50% fee concession on tution fees, also there are other private scholarship like dell scholarship that provide some amount for tution fees 66000 per year , the dell scholarship is limited for only dtu students accommodation 88000 and mentorship for students including career readiness etc The total fees for complete four year course is 1036800 rs The fees is increasing per year and fees structure is changing for each year batch

Campus Life

5

Overall experience with campus life is very good for me , there are two main cultural fest organised yuvaan in month of October and Engifest in month of February books available in library is very large , different types of books are there and they are also easily accessible with help of id card . The facilities and technological provision in class are not very much but bare minimum like desk , white board and projector and marker, ac ventilation etc Sports activities are not that much conducted but extra curricular activities by difficult clubs are in great amount, I have also participated in many like jam , debate etc .Yes there is a social group run by a club for mental health, name of social group is safe space heaven and it has a great impact on students life providing support, there is also a group for academic need of students like pyas , notes and ppt etc.

Admission

I have applied to many colleges - Nsut, iiit delhi, iiit kota , iit kharagpur, nit kurukshetra, nit silchar, nit Rourkela and dtu obviously, I got confirm admission in mining branch in iit kharagpur, cse in iiit kota , ece in nit kurukshetra, cse in nsut , cse in iiit delhi and nit dlehi. I take admission in dtu because I am very affirmwd that i want to do my btech from cse and compared to colleges in which I am getting cse dtu is best in terms of campus, placement and nirf rank . I didn't take admission in iit kharagpur and nit silchar because branch I am getting is not of my choice . I got rejection from top iits and lower iits top branch because thier cut off rank is far from mine , as my jee advanced doesn't go well and in the way I aspired that's why I didn't made there. Admission process of my college is through jac allotment where we have to fill out preference choice it is different from josaa college, eligibility is you must be jee mainss qualified and for my branch cse this year crl rank is 13k , admission process is overall nice it's just we have to fill in different portal from josaa that includes iits

Faculty

3

Faculty to student ratio is good . Faculty to student relationship is nice in many cases but it's not good also in some case. Many faculties are very approachable and also clear doubts after the class time and you can freely ask them any thing. I am grateful that i almost got all good teacher expect dk gupta who teaches us engineering graphics and very conveniental..want us to write the answer they want, also very strict in class, rekha mam teaching us maths is very good , explain topic as many time you want and behaves very friendly and maintain light environment in class . In total there are 5 exams including additional subject, dsa and discrete structure is hard, maths physics is easy , in our class only one student fails the exam. According to my branch, computer science course and curriculum is very relevant to current times.

Night Life

4

Night life in or around campus of college is very very nice . Campus college is big enough that it includes various spots like Nescafe, mic max , Pragya bhawan , sport ground outer area, open air theatre (oat) , mini oat , raj soin hall , hims cafe , del tech cafe etc. My favourite hangout spot is oat it's a very big area and favourite place to sit and play card games with friends, do chit chat etc. Gym is also a good spot timings are 7 to 9 am in morning 4 to 8 in evening , Library is 24hr open, public areas like cafe run from morning 9am to 12 in night . Otherwise for hosteler campus is open every time. Hostel and campus in timings for boys is 10 and girls is 8. Famous hangout spots outside the college is zaika roll corner and rohini market ,it's safe to roam around rohini market and sec -16,17 area , people can easily visit and roam there . Also area around bawana is not safe. And there is also a temple in college many people spent thier night time also

Placements are good especially during recession. You're eligible for placements after 3rd year. After 2nd Year you're eligible for Internships. All Big Companies like Google Microsoft Apple Goldmansachs Mckinsey etc. Highest package offered till now in 2025 is 85LPA (Atlassian) Average of CSE is 17 -18 lpa . almost 53% people get placed in 2025 (recession time). See The degree OF DTU has its value. So it gives you an edge while you go for off campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate here is around 70-75% on an avg in all branches and sometimes even higher. After 1st year only , multiple opportunities starts coming . After 1st year and before 2nd year , basically in summer vacation we have to do a compulsory internship (college also provides) and we are provided a credit for that . Then multiple opportunities like GOOGLE STEP ,amacon internship , etc come.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university doesn't beat around the bush while deciding the courses. They have picked only the subjects and the curriculum that are suitable for our field and focus on making us future-ready. Some subjects might seem a little fast-paced, but if you are consistent enough, you won't face any problems. It is safe to say that the exams and things taught in most the subjects are same to that of its so there is no lacking behind in that aspect.
