Course Curriculum Overview

5

I choose English hons as I'm a someone who loves reading , and I don't get bored , also I would suggest who wants to enroll in English Hons , do check the syllabus as I've seen many students who took this subject just considering it would be easy but dude it requires studying consistently. And if you are someone who loves reading and enjoy it without getting bored and has critical or analytical thinking you should go for it

Internships Opportunities

5

There's many internship opportunity is given by college companies like McKinsey, Accenture and BCC, they give you opportunities which includes position for data Analysis intern, hr intern and many other if you're interested.

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid one thousand fifty rupees a year as anual fee as I'm PWD student but my fellow classmates pay 17000 per year. And for EWS they study for free. Financial scholarship is available for all , you're eligible if your family earn below 3 lakhs per annum. As I come from business family background so I was not eligible also general category students are not allowed

Campus Life

4

Campus life is good if you have jolly nature and you love talking if you don't isolate yourself also dude it's college I would suggest to involve in college societies they will help alot to build your cv and make friends at the same time. You will enjoy here, the annual fest TARANG is very fun , although they don't invite big artists but DJs are good with my experience also lot of fund goes for maintaining college so overall it's good

Admission

I chose Last Shree Ram college as it's nearby my home and it gets easy for me to commute also it's my first preference as it is very reputed college of DU which is affordable comparing to private colleges and the reputation of this college is good , being a girl , this is the college that gives you space to open up and to discover yourself fully , it gives you strength and voice to speak up and build confidence without any judgement

Faculty

5

Faculty of LSR are strict in a good way and at the same time they are friendly , they are always there to clear your doubts, I really enjoy studying in class because they teach so good , it is very feasible for everyone to openly ask doubts, I saw every department has very chill teacher , beside teaching they are also there to give morals and they respect every child

Night Life

5

I only once stayed late night and being a girl it feels very safe to stay in evening college is surrounded by good people you will find out studios girls in college staying late night and speaking with my friends experience she felt very safe as someone who's outside Delhi , it feels like home , you can laugh , ea, sleep, study no one will harm you. It's so peaceful as very few people stays late-night and Library is also opend you can go there to study without worrying.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

There's a very active placement cell in my college. They conduct placement drives, webinars and workshops. Both the jobs and internships are offered. The best package was of 2024 offering 23 Lpa and the average is around 6 Lpa.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is rightly designed. Plus the teachers often suggest books that can be read from library regarding course topics. The library is very nice here. I used to study in the library for long hours. The exam notes and everything is available at the photocopy shop that's inside the college. Writing this review really made me miss the college more

Placement Experience:

Placements definitely stands out as passive placement cell of the college is too good. They are quite aggressive and keep attacking us with getting ready for placements. As top corporate house like Big 4 and top Indian conglomerate also comes to our college for placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Initially i took this course beacuse i filled it as a backup for coming into delhi university but now i can say that the course is very interesting and it is practically applicable in daily life. Tho the theory exams are quite difficult and subjects like advance mme where max students fail exist but then also it is doable and has market value

Placement Experience:

The college has a placement cell which comes up with lots and lots of internship and job offers throughout the year, you get multiple new job opportunities every week but the campus placement is not all that great, B Com courses have somewhat decent placements. the college doesn't push very much or try much to get students placed, you're on your own.

Placement Experience:

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.
