Likes

I like the faculty of my College. It has a strong academic reputation with experienced faculty .
It is the north campus college so it has best campus life and I like exploring the campus.
It has a well connected alumni network which is best for interships and placement.

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not good as compared to other colleges. It needs to improve the infrastructure.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I have interest in economics and I enjoy understanding how economies work . I choose this course for diverse career opportunities. It has flexibility in higher studies like MBA , research, etc.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 31500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for Ba economic honours is Rs. 31500 approx . The fees is paid year wise .Their various scholarships offered for the category like pwd , sc/st , etc . The fees for other courses varies from courses to courses. The fees of batchmate varies . The fees of some is 30500 or 15400 .

Campus Life

The campus is clean , safe and Eco friendly. The campus is not that big as compared to other colleges but it has peace. There are lot of trees and flowers in our college which gives positive vibe and greenery. Daulat Ram college has lots of college societies to take a part on it . The availability of books is easy from the library. DRC has a big sport complex. The sports facilities like gym , well working equipments etc .

Admission

The admission process was cuet . I have given the exam cuet which was conducted by the NTA . I have the commerce+maths stream in 12th so I was eligible for this course and for the other courses as well . The admission for Delhi University is by the cuet cut off and I secure my cut off in Daulat Ram college and I didn't get others college because my cut off was not that much . I choose this college is because it is girls college.

Faculty

The college has best faculty. The professor here are holding phd degree. Though their teaching style varies from teacher to teacher. Everyone is very knowledgeable with their respective subject. The teachers are very helpful. They motivate us and give honest feedback and that helps us alot .

Night Life

The campus is safe for nightlife. The best hangout spots are Hudson lane , kamla nagar, mkt , etc . Everything is fun and nice in north campus campus. The hostel timing for night is 7 pm . The canteen , library get off on 5 pm .

Reality of DU

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is good but there a backlog as they does not provide the selection for the programme courses in first year but they have good subjects in sac vac gt and all so its a good thing and the courses provided by the du are helpful for all.

Placement Experience:

You are eligible for placements from the 5th semester. Multiple companies visited including Deloitte,kpmg,icici bank,zomato etc. 300 offers were makde to the students The highest package last year was 12 lpa and average was 5.7 lpa and profies offered were financial analyst, business development associate, marketing, management trainee etc I think around 40 percent got placements I am planning to do mba after this degree

Academic Excellence and Dream Professors, Great Crowd

Placement Experience:

The college has a placement cell which comes up with lots and lots of internship and job offers throughout the year, you get multiple new job opportunities every week but the campus placement is not all that great, B Com courses have somewhat decent placements. the college doesn't push very much or try much to get students placed, you're on your own.

Insights into DRC

After appearing for CUET UG, we make preferences of the desired college and on the basis on the CUET score, colleges are alloted. So, Daulat Ram College was my 7th preference and I was alloted this as per my category and cut off I cleaned. Although it was 7th preferred college, I have no regret of getting into it. Good internship opportunities

The admission process till last year in University of Delhi was on the basis of 12th std marks, but from this new session(2022-2023) there is an entrance test CUET. The eligibility for the same was the student must've cleared 12th board exams and the application form was available on NTA official site. People with reservations(SC, ST, OBC etc..) do get a lot of benefits like for them the marks are less for getting a good college as compared to non- reservation seats. Daulat Ram's Life

I gave Cuet examination for my course. The eligibity to pursue maths hons from delhi university was to give examination in mathematics and any other 3 subjects. To find the application form one should visit cuet.samarth.in, all the information regarding the dates, fees and syllabus are given there. I want to see some improvements in the admission process such as more hassel free process, as cuet was done for the first time this year so there were many things that did not went smoothly.
