biotechnology course is a new one and pretty amazing
We r learning a lot of things which gonna help me in future
Faculty and the curriculum is pretty amazing here too

Dislikes

Worst lab facilities, i guess and they are renovating it too
Placement cell is worst here , I wish that they show some interest in that
Future councelling can be provided but that didn't show any efforts in this too

Course Curriculum Overview

It's a mixed cource , I mean biotechnology soo yeah it's a pretty amazing course , i got a lot of knowledge about this course, a lot of future opportunities I'm gonna get in the future, our syllabus is up to date , according to NET and GATE exams

Class Size: 26Course Fees: INR 45000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I'm a general candidate so per semester I pay approx 22000? and I live in a pg , monthly 7k rent , and the area is pretty expensive too , i yearly recive 30k scholarship under west bengal government , but it's not enough for staying in this area and my university doesn't give placement

Campus Life

It's a big university a lot of cultural events are held on here in every month , a lot of opportunities and yeah sports too, it's a well known state university too soo yeah a lot of cultural and sports and clubs are here we can take part in that events and also get a good prize too , many times our semester fees are covered in that

Admission

Burdwan university is a well known university in burdwan, and it's pretty amazing one , good infrastructure and yeah it's hard to get addmission in here, because the teachers are too good and practical are really amazing too. I get in the university by my previous marksheet basis, i fillup the addmission form and attend counselling and that's how I got this clg ,

Faculty

The course structure is good in our clg and the lab equipment is good too , some lab stafs are good and yh ofc some teachers are pretty amazing but some teachers are egoistic too , but yeah that's a common problem but I can give garanty on that they will help u if you need that

Night Life

It's a big campus around 400 acrs , soo yeah a main central canteen and many small canteen too , a pretty big Library and ponds a lot of side attraction too, a big flower ganden and many more attractive stuffs to a big gym and a lot of hostels are there too , maybe 6-7 total only for girls and many more for boys , and surrounding areas are attractive too a natural park , science City and a zoo and a planatiriun too

Course Curriculum Overview:

My decision to choose this course depended on the fact that this course provides you with the opportunity to get various jobs in the industries with a high lpa. But this college does not help much in that aspect. All I had to do was myself. It is my humble opinion that the institution should improve its guidance in the area of its teaching methods. The exams were twice a year and were quite difficult on their own.

from 3rd semester itself the placement cells start their work and provide a world cass oppertuinity for the placements . its nice in my college. i can say about my course and batch in witch this yeasr almost 14 stuents got a job from placement in core and non core out of 24 people. which is nice for a masters course where students go for reaserch more.

Nowadays the future as a Biotechnology student is bright as it has a lot of industrial options. The faculty-student ratio is 1:6, all professors are completed their Ph.D. and they are very efficient in both online and offline mode. There are 4 CA, and 2 PCA in one semester as an internal exam, the difficulty level of that exam is moderate.

Condition of Law Colleges

I did not apply to other colleges as it is in close proximity. There is only one law college in the district of Purba Bardhaman where I am from. The other law colleges are very far away from my house which would take me 4-5 hours to travel if there is no traffic. Since I didn't apply to other colleges I didn't get any rejection. If considered with other colleges, the studies are more intensive in law colleges under Calcutta University, as the syllabus is more intensive and has more subjects like Land Law which is absent in the curriculum of B.A. LL.B. of Burdwan University. Fees are also very less in government colleges. The fees for one semester in our college are equal to the fees of the entire course fee in a government college. The infrastructure is much better in government colleges with regular moot court competitions and other competitions, clubs, and extracurricular activities.
