- Burdwan University has released the Phase 2 Counselling & Admission Schedule for PG courses under Arts Faculty. Online Counselling for candidates shortlisted in the Broad Merit List will be held from Nov 18 to Nov 22 and from Nov 25 to Nov 26, 2024 through Google Meet. Further, candidates who will be provisionally selected after online counselling must deposit the admission fees online from Nov 26 to Nov 30, followed by document verification of such candidates from Dec 2 to Dec 4, 2024. - Registration cum Enrollment process is open for students admitted to 1st semester UG (3 year or 4 year Hons), 5-year Integrated LLB, and 1-year Professional courses like DVA & B.P.Ed from Oct 25 to Nov 17, 2024. - Faculties are good and supportive and after the college we are also connected.

Eligibility is HS with 60 % marks Application forms can be found on the office and also other things can be get by contacting No entrance exam It was good. Need to tell students about the current job market situation.

Sometimes the college management behaviour is not good towards the students. And sometimes some teachers are not enough educated and thus not sufficient to clear the doubts of the students. The availability of books in the library is not so good.

Positive remarks: very good infrastructure and also very hood faculties and very good courses with job placements. Very good environment for students and restrictions also there. Negative: no negative remarks.

My college was the best and gave me the best experience of my student life. Moreover, the campus was good for the placement and internship process along with that the facilities were amazing like reading rooms, libraries, and canteen facilities.

BIMS helped me to look at the brighter side of life with academics and sports, health was maintained. The college helped me to shape my personality in a positive way. The Seminar hall and the laboratories were quite an asset for a student like me, As I was more involved in the events and in gaining practical knowledge. The facilities were commendable.

Our college teaching quality is excellent. But I think college can increase their campus. Because we have no big play ground. When college game competition occure then we go to an another field which is not our college property.
