Remarks :

Our university seems like a home to me now with lots of greenary and convinient facilities available. Teachers are friendly. seniors are supportive. classmates are enthusiastic with a good future will.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is very relevant and specific from the point of view of research. The course covers the topics for Csir- NET entrance exam too. The syllabus is reliable and easy grasping. The topics included are important for research.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes our college may provide summer internship to students from the period of june to july. The stipend can be variable from year to year. Hands on training will not be mandatory. Hostel accommodation is not sure.

Placement Experience :

The placements and job opportunities are good depending upon the gpa obtained in the exams and the entrance test qualified. Full scope and source is given to the students for their preparation of entrance tests.

College Events :

Foundation day is celebrated every year in the month of February. Unity in diversity is a function done to celebrate the unity of all states under one roof. Farewell is given to seniors by the juniors in the end sem.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is feasible. Its easily payable for a family belonging to lower middle class society. As it's a central university the fees is very low as compared to other private universities. It's even less as compared to other central universities.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I don't know about any scholarship offered by our university. Loan facility may be provided to students having a meritious background and low family income depending upon some terms and conditions and the University guidelines.

Campus Life :

They are good as students actively participate in these activities. Sports activities like badminton, volleyball, football, basketball and cricket is played by students routinely. Sports day is celebrated as well. Labs are well equipped with machines and instruments for research purpose.

Hostel Facilities :

I would rate 8/10 for our hostel infrastructure. Its good and spacious. My hostel is made recently. water and electricity is available all the time. Table, chair, cupboard, bed and mattress is given to every hosteler.

Alumni/Alumna :

The seniors are good and helpful. They teach us about the course opted, listen to our queries and try to solve them. Ragging and violent activities are strictly prohibited. We work as a team in our labs and during any other co- curricular activities.

Exam Structure :

The postgraduate course consists of 4 semesters. Each semestar contain two mid semester 25marks each and one end semester of 50 marks. Two suprise test 10 marks each, one assignment (5) and one term paper(10) of every subject has to be provided.

Admission :

I qualified the CUCET ENTRANCE TEST. I got AIR- 15. I got selected in M.SC LIFE SCIENCES (molecular medicine) in the first merit list. I payed my admission fees through online portal and later came to bathinda for further registration procedure.

Faculty :

The faculty of my college are expierenced and with a wide range of exposure. Most of them are fellow doctorates in their area completing their studies abroad. With a broad knowledge they try to teach us in a research dependent manner which could be helpful to us in future.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate is average. It's like mid not bad nor that good. The pay is decent for freshers around 3-3.5 LPA. The student placement percentage would be around 60-70%. The major placements are mostly for MBA and Btech students and they have good salary too.

From third semester students are eligible for campus placements. Pharma companies like Sanofi, Dr. Reddy' s Laboratories, Novartis, Lupin, Sun Pharma, Eli Lilly etc. The highest package is 28 lakhs per annum and the average package per company is 6 lakhs. Almost 75% of the students get placed rest of them go for Phd's and business. My plan is to get placed in the upcoming campus placements

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is constructed very nice way like every semester is well suited according to the industrial requirement of our domain , bioinformatics , as we have ngs , python , machine learning , sql ,r , data analysis, all the required field of our interest. but the teacher's let us explore our way ot our course, that's good though but sometimes this become hectic when you think about your future like you are not doing anything, futhermore there is a ample amount of time you'll get so you can do and improve your skills as per your interest. improvements can be done like if all teachers teach us from very basics and some use to do, as we all are from differnt- different background.

Course Curriculum Overview:

From 2018 batches there are 2 midterms and 2 end terms examinations in the year, one midterm and one end semester examination in each semester. Midterm are of 20 marks and usually contain only 1 unit or acc to syllabus covered. The end terms are 80 marks. The difficulty level depends on preparation, if you have prepared a complete syllabus then it will be a little relaxed as options are provided, out of 8 questions 5 are to be attempted.
