College through my eyes

Geology is a very good course if one wants to pursue in person it will give you theoretical as well as practical knowledge of what's going inside the earth as well as outside the earth. I was fascinated by the topics that we had to study like remote sensing about the types of rocks etc. Areas of improvement here should be more effective teaching and more explanation needed for topics which are important for day-to-day life.

My fee structure as per the general category was 20,000 to 21,000 per year and the examination fee were taken as extra plus scholarships are provided to the St Sc category not to the general ones. At the time of admission, I paid 20,155 including a tuition fee 240, an annual charge of 1500, college building fund of 1300.

When I was there youth fest were conducted in college but maximum participation was from arts buliding not from the science one. actually we were not aware of the things going for that purpose. there was no sports as such in our stream but other buildings like arts block were generally in the events and all

My first priority was for Gossner itself because my sister also studied here and graduated with arts English honours so I heard that in the science section faculty is good also I applied for geology which was an affordable and good option for me here. I didn't get any rejection but the list that came from other colleges was late and here my name came on the first list itself. The only process is 12th qualifying marks and that's it according to your percentage your name will come in different lists once the list comes you can reach the college and directly take admission by paying the full amount of admission.

At the beginning there was a faculty who also was our hod was very cooperative and very good he used to teach perfectly on point at beginning practical was also done nicely but after that everything changed when hod changed and lockdown came.

No gym as such cafeteria was there quite descent price for items that you want to eat. campus hostel was not there you will have to search by your own ...outside campus there was no place as such for hangout but a big library was there outside our college were one can go for studies that was a nice place. it is not that Safe to roam at night but at day it is good .
