Remarks :
My college is note a college it a temple where i get knowledge an it's a land of opportunities. The environment is also good and green. The behaviour of the faculty and the students are also good. It am enjoying a lot during my college days and i will miss my college days when it's over.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My coarse accounts a total of 5 core subjects And 2 optional subjects that deals with the basic development of students made by the University Grants commission. The 5 core subjects deals with the language, history, geography and speaking skills. My university follows the semester exam system. That means I have to give 2 exam in a semester (mid-semester exam that is a total of 30 marks and the end semester exam that a total of 50 marks and at last 20 marks for presentation of a topic related to subject.
Placement Experience :
The placement and jobs opportunities are quite good in my university as compared to all other colleges nearby. Our university had collaboration with the other universities and MNCs that provides us a excellent opportunity in careers. As far as i know i think that my college doesn't provide any internship program to us but we manage that on our own efforts and are doing well.
College Events :
First of a we celebrate our departmental festival,twice in a year one in September and other in march. Then the University celebrate many programs each year. The Diwali fest,The holi fest,Annual university program,Annexa,Music-fiesta etc. Most of the University students participates in these and there is a lot of rush during the preparation of programs.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is very feasible as compared to other universities moreover it provides a the knowledge at very low costs as compared to other private colleges and university. My total fee of a semester is 20000 rupees per semester.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The University provides us a total of 2 scholarship. First is Doon University students Aid fund and the other is state University scholarship both of them five us 10000 rupees a year only to the deserving candidates who scores well in academic year.
Campus Life :
My college provides workshop on various occasions such as book fairs each year and various other sports events such as football maches and cricket match. Our university students also participate in the all India universities competition what students of many universities participate and compete with other students in varo events.
Hostel Facilities :
For 1 year i had been in Hostel, the environment was good and of the students are very kind and helpful to me. The rooms are clean and even the wifi router works well. I first year i had to share my room with two others but next year i got my own single room. The average cost of each room including the food and the WiFi is a total of 25000 rupees per semester.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes, they help us a lot each year they come and share their experience with us on the alumini meet program and they tell us about the opportunities that we even didn't know about. Sometime they donate some of the most important and helpful books that we need to study which are very costly for us to buy individually.
Admission :
It provided me the best option regarding my future career as i gave me a choice to take my subjects of my will. There are a total of 25 seats available on all India basis so an entrance exam was conducted by the University. The syllabus was quite a lot more than i expected to have for any other exams but somehow i managed to do maximum number of topics,some topics are quite easy as they are of General interest. The i got all India rank-3 and called for the document verification and a small interview,there i was asked why do I choose this coarse and and a small personally test. As i clearer al the steps they gave a reference registration form and number and i was asked to submit the application form and fee's for the coarse.
Faculty :
The faculty of my college good and had a vast experience and knowledge of their respective subjects and their teachings are very effective on all of us. Most of the faculty are Ph. d qualified and some of them are persuing distance ph. d from other universities.
