Course Curriculum Overview :

Specific aspects of the curriculum is that the availability of best faculties in the university. Cause my seniors are in that college they are also get placed in previous years in good MNCs. Exams are Easy to Difficult level in a sequence manner and Marks are 60 marks and 80 marks

Class Size : 64Course Fees : INR 50000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid :

Yearly i am paying 25000 per annum. Including tution fees, caution fees . Also there is other fees like Festival expenditure and all other events there fees college paying. For OBC and SC/ST students their fees is 18000 per annum. Scholarships are Like Government scholarship worth 40k will be available in our college. Best university of odisha is Utkal University.

Campus Life :

Annual festival like recently we celebrate Nuakhai is most famous West Odisha Festival. Library is full of books and journals. Technology are very much updated and also we are studying in smart board rather than normal black board. Also our Computers are very much well functioning.

Admission :

I applied first and last to the Utkal University. Secondary college is Revenshaw University although it is too far from my location that's why i get admission in this college. I never get rejected from any universities. Admission Process is very simple and easy once you met College faculties they Help you in the admission process. Exams accepted to get admission in OJEE and JEE MAIN and also CPET.

Faculty :

Faculty and Students ratio is 1:15 . There is like a personal guidance for each of students. Faculties That i met last time who is retired now is Sanjay Jena sir is best among all who helped us many times. Also very cooperative and friendly person. No faculty is hated all are good. There are 2yr MCA program with 4 semester and 4 internal. Almost all students qualified all exams rather than 2/3 students have failed. And the curriculum is very much relevant . Small changes needed but it's okay to be covered.

Interview Experience :

Yes All are good enough to get a job in Utkal University bhubaneswar and also preparation is very much easier with our faculty members and placement guide coach of our university. It will more easier to get a job.

Night Life :

Gym is open 5 am and close at 11.00 pm Library is 24*7 Public area are Closed at 12.00 AM Hostels are too good .very entertaining people are there also we have indoor playing activities we play at evening.

College life is like a rollercoaster

Placement Experience:

After the 2nd semester a student is eligible for the placements and campus placement is also good there are lots of companies come for recruitment but don't expect good salary package you will get average and the companies came for recruitment are not that big companies most of the companies are startup companies there are companies like technobot,invincix the average package was 2.5 lakhs/yr this year and the highest package was 6 lakhs/yr likely 60 to 70% students got placed in the previous year I will join the mnc companies after getting my degree

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of the course will give you a basic idea about how the software or IT industry works that are the basic tools. In the 1st sem you will have computer architecture that will give us idea about the working and integration of hardware components with software attributes. Operating system will tell us the working of the OS with respect to computer and basic algos. Discrete mathematics that will prepare us for yo deal with algos in future and graphs that are much needed to design or know compiler idea. Database Management System will train us to deal with data in a database. Then C programming. Like wise you have DSA in 2nd Sem that is important for job purpose and will make us known about various algorithms. Similarly HTML, CSS, JS important for frontend. Java will be introduced in 2nd sem.The syllabus is very old and is not designed to make you a pro in today's time. You need to simultaneously prepare for the market demand from other places like online or any other source.

The best college in odisha for B.Tech and MCA.

Remarks:

College is good as of my experience if you are like to learn and spend more time on study rather than fun then you will like the college. This college time table is very strict unlike the other college. Some time you will feel like school bcoz of its very busy time table of continuous classes. The class time is regular 8 AM to 5 PM everyday except sunday. There is 1 short break and 1 long break in between.
