Remarks :

I have applied to many colleges accross delhi and one in uttrakhand I previously wanted to do the NDA but when I got the TDS entry I got failed and I got to know that because of my eyesight I can't make it there and after that incident I chose I'll do BBA and do the CUET I got offer the letter from the one college at kashmiri gate but when I visited it looks too oldish type and buildings were of all old designs not much facilities and very far from my home and in that timeI have also applied for the jamia hamdard BCA course because I wanted to have a skill based degree(it was filled kinda mistakenly as I BCA and BBA form came out together) and at that time they used 12th cutoff percentage which was 55% or 60% and either you should have maths in 12th or an IT subject I had both. And somewhere around mid October I got the mail for the registration process and classes were started by 22nd October and the main perk of this college is this is near to my house. That's how I get into jamia hamdard. And here I didn't feel like an outsider as my school friends are there too and made friends in BCA too. Now it's my 3rd year and enjoying my best college life diverse courses diverse students different fest and some of the teachers are best.

Course Curriculum Overview :

There are around 157 students divided in 3 sections I am in C section there are around 20 girls there are various students hail from different states including kashmir they all live together and with loving nature and yes there are student groups and take learning in groups and divide each others forte and help others learning I got good marks in each semester and yes students take class for learning but not so many students come with this perspective.

Internships Opportunities :

There is no college side internship placement system student have to find internship by themselves either pais or unpaid but in delhi and colleges with same reputation also doesn't offer any internship by college itself but in other department of my college they often provide internships.

Placement Experience :

Final placement takes place in the 5th sem or last year recently accenture came to our college for the final placement and they will get placed after the college ends after a 8 or 6 months training period. 10% students qualify for the placements due to there Incapablities. Around 3-5lpa students get averages CTC but some of them even get higher as per there skills and expertise.

Fees and Financial Aid :

When I first paid the fees it was somewhere around 75k for the 1 semester which includes library fees one time paid only and refundable after the graduation now for each semester I pay 60k including examination fees and till the end I will totally pay 375000. I live with my family so no mess charge and hostel fee. It's 10% expensive than other colleges but they are too far from my area. Fees structure for general and SC/ST are same and there is financial aid for EWS students they get some waiver in each semester. And jamia hamdard itself doesn't provide any scholarship.

Campus Life :

Our college has various sports facilities including cricket pitch, football ground, basketball court, volleyball court for outdoor games and for indoor there is a room for table tennis , carrom, chess etc, things like football basketball you can get using identity card and condition of ground are well maintained and there is nor swimming. There is gym facility for both boys and girls but different timings. Library and auditorium are well maintained and quite big enough to find all the necessary books and you can get third party database with the help of teachers. Campus is large enough if you can walk through whole campus only once or twice if you have good stamina and some students have there own personal bike and cars with respective parking facility and if a family member come out to stay there is scholar house for there staying facility, There are alot of eatery outside college a tons of options and food variety. Most students go to cafeteria or sports ground after the classes and join other students in their respective games. There is not much colorful nightlife as there is restrictions and security all over the campus and cafeteria closes after 8 30 . There are eatery hubs like chaarminar , alaknanda market, saket, cafe street 36 these are the hot spots. Yes it's safe to hand outside the campus. There are alot of fest happens in the college as there is diverse courses once salman the indian idol winner performed in our college fest and so many cultural and tech clubs and society's. Some of the important and international clubs are IEEE and a government approved club is UBA. No there is no student exchange program

Hostel Facilities :

Acually I don't live in hostel but some of my friends do I am writing this as per their review. Yes there is seperate hostels for girls and boys and there is closing time of 9 30pm and each time you go out you have to sign the booklet and there is a common mess for all the 4 girls hostel and 3 boys hostels all are given same food for a day and there is different meals for each day of week. Wardens are strict no boys or girls can enter either boys hostel or girls hostel. I am not sure about the hostel fees bit it's somewhere around 1.3 lakh for ac ones and different for non ac dormitories including laundry, mess etc. They got a roomie with 2 beds and different Cupboard and there are w washroom at each floor and a common reading hall there is 24x7 wifi electricity geyser and ac(choice) other appliances like. Induction refrigerator are not allowed and there is bed chairs, and there is 24x7 lift facility nearby college there is a facility for of PG there are alot of PGs for girls and boys seperate pgs and eatery hubs too.

Exam Structure :

When the selected students list gets out you will recieve a mail after that you will have to pay the fees and after that only you will be called for registration process or documents process documents are marksheet, adhaar, tc, migration, character certificate, this whole process takes around 4 weeks after the declaration of selected student list. There is not much of interview and GD happens to get into this a safe score will be 80+ in 12th and all over 80%+ in CUET for opting this course prepare for CUET. And if you'll be late there is management quota whose fees is much higher than other quota students as there is NRI quota too.

Faculty :

The course which i am currently studying is not that hard overall however, certain subjects like mathematics still makes me scratch my head. There are no “bad” aspects of the course which im studying but i guess some subjects feel unnecessary like english communication. The subjects like Basic Electrical Engineering is quite astounding as it teaches us about the practical uses of daily electrical and electronic instruments and how it works, its principle etc. The classes take place like the usual from 9AM to 5PM however it is not daily that follows this time table. Some days like Monday and Tuesday, our classes begin from 11AM and end early at around 4PM. The teaching methodology of professors is simple, they explain a topic verbally with examples then solve a few basic questions on board amd give some questions for us to solve on our own, they are also friendly meaning we can go upto them when they are not in class amd ask them a doubt. Since it has not been that long of me studying here i admire all the teachers that teach me currently, maybe that opinion might change by the end of the semester, we may never know. There is a mandatory attendance rule of minimum 75%, in cases when students do not have 75% min attendance they are not allowed to write in mid sem exams and even as far as end sem exams. I have seen a few cases of my seniors being detained during exams and not being allowed to write the exams because of low attendance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is inefficient and ineffective in building real lawyers. Simply mugging up case laws is not enough to be a lawyer. There's a serious need for du to fix its curriculum and examination tactics. They should really reconsider this.

For placements at VIPS, are not God level but no less too. Every student here gets a chance to intern with top law firm and then either get to work with them or corporate houses like Aditya Birla Group, Johnson & Johnson and HUL among others are the private players who sign us with an average annual package of 8.25 lakhs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum is not so good like it has to be a little bit easy because students come directly from school and the syllabus of college should be in relevance to the school curriculum in school we have been taught basic ncert books in college we are supposed to make reasearch papers and discuss on them suddenly very broad concepts come of which students get blank eventually one has to study themselves for good cgpa no examination scheme is explained by the teachers, even nothing is being informed about this

Lsr highest package is 44-45 LPA and it's average package is 11 LPA. Although there's not 100 percent placement but only lsr tag can also offer many opportunity in other fields or work. One can go for business or for professional course like CA, CS, etc or competition exams.

From 10th semester students start getting placement offers.. I din not recall some company names.. but they are not big names they are just normal law firms. Highest package one can get is 4 LPA. Very less students go for placement. My plan after degree is to study for judiciary exam.
