  • It was at a secluded place so traveling was difficult

Course Curriculum Overview :

I wanted to do something different and that's the reason why I chose law.. no one in my family is from legal background.. They prepare decently well but mostly you have to prepare yourself in your own.. They should be more interactive to students.. bit just give lectures and go.. that's one thing they should improve to do that. Frequency of exams is in every 6 months internal exam and external exams happens

Internships Opportunities :

I do not recall the firm names as they were not that famous. The role which was offered from then was of legal associate . To help them in legal research, drafting documents and attend court hearings.

Placement Experience :

From 10th semester students start getting placement offers.. I din not recall some company names.. but they are not big names they are just normal law firms. Highest package one can get is 4 LPA. Very less students go for placement. My plan after degree is to study for judiciary exam.

Fees and Financial Aid :

The yearly fees was around 60 to 70 it changes sometimes.. Fee for every student was same no difference for reservation students I didn't get any scholarship They don't charge any extra lab fee or development fee or anything like that

Campus Life :

The name of the annual festival changes every year. They are typically held during winter time. And many famous artist comes.. There are 2 libraries so u can get the books easily. There are projector and screen in every classroom but they have never been used during my time in college. College doesn't offer that much extracurricular activities. Yes there are many student run social group in college like chess society singing society drama society

Admission :

I didn't choose other college after giving entrance exam. I was provided with the list of colleges on which I can enter into based on my ranking in exam.. I got the main campus that's why I chose it. It was the best.

Faculty :

The faculty to student ratio is great you can meet the professors any time.. you can visit them in their alloted rooms and you can talk to them.theybare very approachable.. Queeny pradhan mam was great.. she was very helpful to us.. Exams are not that difficult. You can pass them if you study decently

Interview Experience :

No, we did not face any interview or GD session.. we went there with documents and they did verification after counselling session and then after payment of college fee.. admission process was done...

For placements at VIPS, are not God level but no less too. Every student here gets a chance to intern with top law firm and then either get to work with them or corporate houses like Aditya Birla Group, Johnson & Johnson and HUL among others are the private players who sign us with an average annual package of 8.25 lakhs.

The students here opt for diverse career options including judiciary, UPSC, MBA, litigation, LLM, or sit for placements. Tier one firms visit the campus on day zero to offer placements. The students sit for placements at the start of the fifth year.

Placement Experience:

The college provides good placement for BBA and MBA programs. But if we talk about the Law program, there are no such good placements that are provided by the college. Though in papers there are companies and law firms which come to the college hardly any students get those placements or students prefer to go for out-of-college placements as they are better than the ones provided by the college. Students who are really serious about the program and skills are doing fine by finding internships and placements on their own.

University provide placements where manytop tier firms come to college for recruitment. Last few years have been bad for NLUD with only 50-60 percent placements. Before that there used to be 100 percent placement.

Placement Experience:

There was no placement in the college. In my memory only 4-5 students got placed during the course. Placement cell is very lethargic and inactive. Instead of taking their support students prefer to join senior advocate under whom they have done internship.
