Course Curriculum Overview :

Cource content is very Mediocre Diverse enough that you can say to others I read this and that without actually knowing what it really means. Think that we were thought OOPS clearly on in 7th sem but it is a repeating topic from 3rd sem I highly advice you to learn by yourself cuz this college won't help you in any sort of way

Placement Experience :

Placements start from 6 th sem HPE, Evertz, Motorola, ibm,Accenture, tech Mahindra,HCL were some of the companies that attended the placement drive ~120-150 companies visited us for our placements out of which only 15 were Engineering based and rest were sales Highest package on campus was 10lpa Average 3.5 lpa in coding/ engineering roles 30/540( 9 sections of 60 each) were not of people places in coding/ engineering roles Rest everyone was placed in sales role

Fees and Financial Aid :

104730 is the cource fees per year to be paid before the first exam of odd sem. Apart from it you will have Semester exam fees of atleast 2000 which is varying depending on the year. No financial aid from the college ( I was 2nd in terms of ranking but no financial aid) You need to apply for state or national scholarship. Sc/St will be paying only 64k per year(not cet fees only tution fees) Management fees is 2.5 lpyear( if your cet rank is <50k) 3 lp year otherwise

Campus Life :

Clubs are great. They conduct various events and outings are also conducted. College social life is very dull to the point that the most intresting thing to do in that area is to get out of there. College fest only happens once every 4 years in my case Ethnic day, teachers day and childrens day are celebrated.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel is way overpriced. I spend 130000 for just 2months during covid time, it was for the whole year but they didn't issue refund. Pg rent is : 6-6.5k for 3 sharing 7-8 k for 2 sharing and 10-12k for 1 sharing. Best of is 1st cross Balaji pg and 3rd cross Shri Balaji pg Flats are best in bsf area especially Behind olive planet where 2bhk costs 13.5 k excluding water and electricity

Admission :

I wanted to go to Nitte(karkala) but couldn't because of caste based reservation ( needed 6k rank but I got 6.3k) Reva was the second option because one of my professors recommended it but I was thoroughly disappointed in Reva. If I could go back in time I would have put Sir MV and my 2 nd choice

Faculty :

Exams: Easy to pass with all the material provided and some analysis of past question paper A question bank is provided that contains >50% of exam questions which appear in exam There is liberal marking especially in sem end exams (SEE) You'll have 2 exams before each SEE FACULTY Hit or miss in terms of teaching accumen Some are great whereas others mediocre at best If the teacher is incapable ( happens 3 times for us) escalate with the department head . If you escalate 4 times the teacher will be replaced

Night Life :

You need permission from parents to get out of hostel after 5:30 Hostel last timing is 10 pm after which the superintendent is informed Famous hangout areas: 1st bakery ( opposite College gate) 2nd bakery( 1st bakery in the pg road) Poll spot ( 1st cross pg road) Hangout cafe(3rd cross pg road) Bsf cricle has a gaming cafe

Placement Experience:

Last year due to recession the placements were low comparatively. From semester 7 onwards we are eligible for campus placements. I do not exactly have the correct statistics, but all the students who tried outside got the jobs easily. Highest package 32 lacks and least goes upto 3 lacks per annum. Last yearpercentage of students placed is 66 and before that it was more than 90 My plan is to get a good job, after the degree and if I cannot get a good job then I will go for higher studies abroad.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements by the start of the 7th semester, and the internships by the 5th semester. Since Mangalore has many MNCs, most of the campus drives start with those companies. We have an average package of 18LPA and it varies according to each branch of engineering. Mostly all the computer science-related branches have 23LPA as their average and the core branches have 14LPA. Almost 95 per cent of the students get placed. The highest package has even crossed 50LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the computer science was booming and also beeing an aspiring student towards that field I had decided to do CSE. The curriculum is was less practical towards the real world applications. They should have include industry professionals to teach they would have better knowledge and experience. Every one we used to have exam like mid term , FA, and end terms. Difficulty depends upon prepration level done by student.

Placement Experience:

They are eligible for placements after 4th semester and the placements are average, a lot of companies have visited I can't say them all ex like Infosys, TCS , and a lot of American and Taiwanese companies, the highest place ment in this campus was around 28lpa and average is around 1L and the percentage of students getting placements are below average like every other college cause this mostly depends on you and not the college its all based on your skill set. My plans are to get a job with a good lpa and I'm confident about that because I have a good skillset which would benefit the companies.

Students become eligible for placements from 7th semester, many companies including walmart, accenture, capgemini come for placement. Almost 70% of the students get placed with packages ranging from 4lpa to 23lpa being the highest The highest pacakage seen this year was around 25 lpa by phonepe If a student fails to secure campus placement, there is many opportunities off campus too My plan is to do a masters degree after bachelors

Placement Experience:

If talking about the placement placements are good companies like Wipro or Amazon and many other companies will visit the campus but the ratio of selection is less. So little bit hard work is required or else around 60 to 70%. Students are placed from my college in every year.
