- The Computer labs are highly equipped and are air conditioned which increases the comfort to study and work in
Dislikes
- The management staff is rude and unresponsive most of the time
- The teaching faculties, half of them are decent but the other half is very egoistic and rude to students for no real reason and when we complained to the HOD there was no action taken
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is very bad because while taking admission they mentioned we'd be introduced to Artificial intelligence and new age technology in our field. But now even when we use AI to solve our problems for us the faculty gets mad at us instead of teaching us how to work with it. Overall, they lied during admission about the updated curriculum and the new technologies they would teach us. Also, there are a lot of unrelated and unnecessary subjects including like Indian knowledge system where they teach you about India's history and civilisation and stuff, what will I do with that I'm in the IT field!
Internships Opportunities :
There are no internship opportunities available officially, the only ones that I know are the ones offered by the faculty and individual talented students only. The faculties tell the students about someone (mostly a friend) who has a company or works in the IT field and then they hook up the student with an internship
Placement Experience :
Most teachers that teach us right now are a result of campus placements where they took the students and hired them to teach the subjects to newer students. But most seniors I've talked to prefer looking for a job on their own because the placement that my college offers is not the best but it would be a decent start because the average package from the posters I've seen in the campus is around 3-4 lakhs. But to be on the far safer side I don't think you should expect my college to give you a good placement and just look for it on your own
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees during the first semester was around 24k, with the admission form fees and all, my course overall has 10 semesters and my 2nd and 3rd semester fees has been around 23k with examination form fees and tuition fees and some other university amenities like sports club etc etc so the overall course fees would be around 2.7 lakh
Campus Life :
The social life in college is basically 0 because more than half of the people that come to college are either way below average intelligence level or just have no social skills of confidence to talk properly to anyone. And for the ones who do, they don't know how to speak any english and I've been to a few countries so my English is almost flawless and whenever I talk in english they just end up making me feel like I'm in the wrong for not using my native language. So the students there aren't the best but you might find your own kind eventually, like I found my group, we're a group of 7 friends. Those are the only people I enjoy talking to during college including the faculties, they're bad too, you cannot communicate with them without them making you feel dumb
Admission :
I had applied to way better colleges with higher and better reviews but because I got only 59.2% in 12th CBSE this is the only college I got admission in, there were more colleges that I got accepted in in the later admission rounds but I already took admission here by then so it was pointless
Faculty :
Majority of the faculty members genuinely do not care about the students studying in their department, and as for the few of them that do care about the students, they are being governed by the superior faculties that dictate how the college works. The examination structure is simple during the semester, after the first 2½ months there will be internal exams including practicals and after 4 months of the start of the semester, tye external theory and practical exams will take place. Assignments and attendance and all those factors will be considered for internal marking during the non examination period
Night Life :
Nightlife near my campus is pretty fun because the campus is closed and I live in the same city as my college so we go in that area pretty often since there's a lot of food trucks and spots in the area. It's a rich area with a lot of things to do like bowling, arcades, cafes, gamezones, etc. So if you went outside my campus at night you wouldn't be bored
