Honest opinion

I applied to MHCET colleges and also NLUs but having a relatively higher rank for tier-1 NLUs for UR category, the MHCET colleges having high reservation, I could make it in both of them. Also there were some colleges in Delhi too but NFSU had a lot of exposure, institute of national importance status and a growing name in every field, so I chose this college over other. The admission is on the basis of CLAT Rank, for the UR category the cutoff goes upto 5000 and Reserved category even higher. The admission experience was very easy. The admission form fees is 1500 rupees and they release a merit list, during my time there were 30 seats for UR category and 30 for reserved category, then follows online counseling then once confirmed you're called for the physical counselling on campus....Read More

For forensic science there's no better college than NFSU and hence this was indeed the first choice college of me. We have an entrance that carries 80% weightage and then we have 12th score consideration which carries 20% weightage....Read More

I applied for RV institute of legal studies (Bangalore) for their course Bsc(hons) forensic science and criminology. I chose NFSU as it is a national college recognised by the government of India which assures me of better placements. I didn't get a rejection as I did not apply for a lot of universities Eligibility for NFSU must have completed their +2 Exams accepted NFAT, JEE There is no particular cutoff as NFAT is subject to differences in marks every year but on an average your goal should be atleast 80/100 marks...Read More

It always wanted nfsu, so undoubtedly I was lucky to get the main campus, although I was more keen towards forensic science at first and give all the exams for it in private universitys as well but at closure i resonated more with criminology as a career that required my involvement and the course structure and subject made me feel like this is better than forensic science for me.
