Remarks :

Infrastructure of my college is not soo good but education quality is excellent. We learn Vedic science along with engineering subjects. Environment of study is good and campus is fully eco friendly .Campus placements is near about 80 percent.

Entrance Preview :

Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya MCA Entrance Exam. My rank was 6th.This is college near to my home town and fess structure was less and was the best college for MCA in uttrakhand so I had chosen this.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Computer Application is a use of computer to solve a specific problem or to accomplish a particular job for an end user. For example, common business computer applications include sales order processing, inventory control, and payroll. It is popularly known as M.C.A. which is an abbreviated form of Master Computer Applications. The duration of Master of Computer Applications is three years, divided into a number of semesters which are generally six in number.

Internships Opportunities :

Most of the companies came during my placement time TCS,HCL, Infosys ,Tech Mahindra ,Dell and NIIT and many more.College fees was very less 27000 per year even hostel fees was very less and no extra fees was there . Apart from that you will get the scholarship if you fulfill the criteria for that.

Placement Experience :

Most of the companies came during my placement time(i.e. 2010) TCS,HCL, Infosys ,Tech Mahindra ,Dell and NIIT and many more. 70% students got placement .TCS offer: 3.31 lac per annum, Infosys: 3.25 lac per annum, New gen 3.7 lac per annum, Dell: 2.5 lac per annum, NIIT: 2.7 lac per annum. I don't remember about all other but all companies was offering between 2.5 lac to 4.0 lac per annum.

College Events :

Many Conference/Seminar/Workshops/Training programs organized by the Department. Orientation /CME program on Yoga for Medical Practitioners. Yoga Training Camp in HaridwarThey all celebrated in large scale as it is deemed university.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Annual tuition fees was about 27000 rs per annum. Hostel fess was around 6000 per annum. The annual fees for the program was about Rs 35,000/-.It was very less in compare to other colleges who was offering MCA course.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes scholarship facility was there.One of my friends was availing this facility but I don't know about the procedure for the same.

Campus Life :

It was deemed university.Different college for girls and boys. Boys campus situated at Haridwar while Girls campus situated at city Dehradun. Fresher party,farewell part y and many other event held there. Even there are lots of sports to play.

Alumni/Alumna :

Senior were very helpful.Alumni group created on social network.Every year alumni day celebration was held on college where all seniors member go to school and guide new students.

Faculty :

All Faculty was having PHD degree.They are very experience and well command on there technical skills. Some of faculties were Dr. Vinod KumarProfessor & Head Dr. Karamjit BhatiaProfessor & Dean - Faculty of Technology Dr. Vivek KumarAssociate Professor.

Just a normal college with hyped up things but still a decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent in Graphic Era but fue to recession tis year and last year the placements have not been that much good. Various companies like Accenture, Tech Mahindra, rughtwave, Infosys, jman group etc came this year fir campus hiring. The highest package in my course i had hear is of i think 9 lpa. Various profiles like Associate Software Engineer and software trainee etc were being offered. Roughly around 40-50% students got placed.

For MCA ita just ok. They call companies. I got hired for paid interenship before 8 months of my passout with soice digital limited, wipro and infosys also visits, if you are in top 10 students your chances to get hired are higher, overall its good college at lower fee.

Remarks:

Good things about the college are the infrastructure, college events, cultural fests, friendly faculties. Bad things about the colleges are less experienced faculties, no information on campus drives. Overall it is a good college if you are focused as there are a lot of distractions.

Best Engineering college in Uttarakhand!

Remarks:

I would say excellent college where one gets to groom in every field which helps in your overall personality development. Very good job opportunities. Faculty is well educated

College placement is 0%. College does not support placement. This year students are sent for pool campus. Maybe placement will improve in coming years.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MCA is a good course. It depends on how you develop your skills.whether you go for programming, networking, testing, hacking, or anything in IT field you have a lot of scope.we have workshops. Faculties support if you want to do something new. In elective, we have cryptography and parallel computing.
