- The crowd here is good, peoples are here from different parts of the country but most of them are from patna and Bihar itself , but overall the crowd is pretty good.
- There is exposure for many cultural as well as technical activities. Many events take place in the college which is surely a good point in considering this college as it gives you the opportunity to interact with different people's.
Dislikes
- The college campus is too small, there are very few places to hangout. Expected much more with this college.
- The professors of chemistry are keen to fail students in the semester exams . The faculty here is not that good.
Course Curriculum Overview :
In the very first year of engineering we are taught with different subjects of different fields. As of now I am in cse department and no subject of computer science is being taught to me. Subjects includes mathematics, chemistry, EVS, electronics, mechanical, engineering graphics, workshop practice, chemistry lab, electronics lab. The curriculum of mathematics is top notch but on the other hand chemistry and evs seems to be useless for this era of technology, electronics and mechanical curriculum are also upto mark. Workshop practice includes carpentry and all and it seems no use to me. Frequency of exams is 4 and it happens every month
Internships Opportunities :
Paypal and some other companies provided intership to the students in our college The stipend range from 40k to 200000 per month I am not sure about the roles offered but the internships were quite good.
Placement Experience :
Students become eligible for campus placements in the 5th semester, Companies including Infosys, TCS, Accenture, tata, and many more visited and total of 240 offers were made in the year 2023. There was a 33 lakhs offer from paypal too. Highest was 33 lakhs from paypal and 32 lakhs from Amazon 60-70 percent people gets placed My plans after getting a degree is going into software field
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fees for the first semester sums up to 2,88,000 including 20,000 admission fees, 10,000 caution money and 60,000 IT and digital fees also including the hostel and mess charges of 33,500. The second semester fees sums upto 1,93,000 including hostel and mess charges. Therefore the year wise fees totals 4,71,000. Also there is 100% scholarship for students having under 1000 rank, 75% for 1001-2500 rank and 50% for 2501-4000. There is same fees for all the categories. No reservation on fees
Campus Life :
There is a annual cultural and technical fest Technika ( happens in October) happening every year in our college, a sports meet prakrida (happens in March). There are various varieties of books in our college library, every textbook, reference books, fictional books, coding language books. The classrooms are simple with a large blackboard and speakers are also installed in the classroom. We have a PT period in college, Sports facilities are good including 2 basketball courts football ground, cricket ground, volleyball ground, badminton court, TT table. There are social groups helping peoples eSports arena club, music club, drama and dance club pratibimb, It helps the newly admitted students in exploring the inner potential and getting into the respective fields they want
Hostel Facilities :
My hostel room is on a twin sharing basis including 2 cemented tables, 2 chairs, wardrobe, 2 beds. The mess food is excellent compared to other colleges, a company has a tender here for the mess food and it's hygiene is also good. At the time of admission the hostels are alloted to the students by filling up a form.
Admission :
I got this college according to my jee mains course, the main reason of me joining this college was that I was getting cse branch. I got admission in sgsits indore eee branch and also in iet lucknow eee branch, but I wanted cse so I chose this college . I couldn't make to other best colleges due to my low score in jee mains I scored 94.5 percentile and with this I got this college. Admission happened through csab, We need to report to the college in the specific time period and submit documents The admission process is very easy .
Faculty :
The faculties are approachable very easily, in chemistry and the workshop practice the faculty to student relationship is worse. The teachers of workshop and chemistry are always ready to fail the students. The maths teacher of the cse department is best in the whole college. I don't like the workshop practice faculty as he is too rude . There are 4 exams in the semester Starting with quiz 1 of 10 marks Mid sem of 25 marks Quiz 2 of 10 marks End sem of 50 marks And 5 marks for assignment This totals up to 100 marks for each subject. It's on a easy to medium scale to pass the exam. The students fail only in chemistry as the faculties are too bad.
