- The best thing about MNIT is that it is a very old college and it is reputed and the placement reports, all the study curriculum, everything is good.
- Apart from studies, this MNIT is a very good place, like it's ED cell, many Tech functions, their team etc, clubs management, the experience of all these is very good.
Dislikes
- There are some clubs which are not working now but their clubs are still running and are not closed so this is a weakness of MNIT
- There are some professors who are very rude meaning they does not matter to them whether the students study or not
Course Curriculum Overview :
There is a lot of scope for mechanical engineering in MNIT and in studies also SBI is from relevant tech branches and the curriculum helps a lot, the books suggested by the teachers are also very good. Some teachers, apart from books, study on the basis of real world experience and ask real world questions from those questions and the course curriculum and teaching method remains boring for some teachers. He can improve it but he is a funniest way and being a frank student, everything else is good and the frequency is quite high, exams are held every two months so there is not much load. From the preparation that teachers give me,help me
Internships Opportunities :
Many companies come to MNIT for internship and some companies like Philips, TCS etc take internship and the stipend is also approx 175000, the highest in last year Many students do very good projects here Like a mechanical engineering student made an electric bike and other people make very good projects and those who study design good software apps.
Placement Experience :
After the 6th semester in MNIT, students become eligible for placement and the average placement here is 12 lakhs and the highest is 64 lakhs and approximately 90% of the students get placed here every year. The placement ratio here is very good and there are a lot of good companies here like Mercedes, prop Vivo,TCS.After completing my B.Tech degree, I will work on some projects and start my own startup so that I can do something for the country For this, I am already connected with many seniors in MNIT and also with people working on many startups.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
My self Nikhil Prajapat and I am a mechanical engineering student from MNIT and I paid 99315 in MNIT out of which 62500 was tuition fees and the rest was institute fees which included wifi, hostel and development lab insurance and I paid 47000rs. as hostel fees, out of which 32000 is hostel fees and ?15000 is caution money which is refundable after graduation. In fee submission, there are three types of categories, out of which the first category includes those people whose income is less than 1 lakh, the second category includes those whose income is between 1 lakh to 5 lakh and the third category is of those whose income is more than 5 lakh and in this, those whose income is below 1 lakh, they get zero payment from tuition fees and those whose income is between 1 lakh to 5 lakh, they have to pay 1/3 of the total tuition fees and those whose income is more than 5 lakh, they have to pay the entire tuition fees etc.If someone is a student from SC-ST category, his tuition fees are totally waived and in MNIT, one can get private scholarships and also many government scholarships. If you want to really study but you have not too much money, this is a good option. And here one also gets scholarship option for laptop, like here in the name of private scholarship, one can get option of Blue Star Foundation, Reliance Foundation and in Government scholarships one can get NSP ,PM Yashasvi, many types of private government scholarships. Like, if my friend belongs to such category, then he did not pay the full tuition fee of Rs 62500 in his fees.
Campus Life :
MNIT has many annual and technical fests like Blitzs and Sphinx and Sphinxs which is held in November and Blitzs which is held in February The library here has a lot of car and normal mobile books etc. which are easily available. The book bank also has a lot of books.Classrooms have projectors, seats, visibility, and a lot more There are many good things in the name of India like Basketball, Cricket, Badminton, Table Tennis, Tennis, Carrom, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi. There are many music clubs where you can dance, sing and many more and students also have social groups like Bhagavad Gita group and dance group and there are student portals like scholarship portal.
Hostel Facilities :
There is bed, table, chair, cupboard and Wi-Fi in the room and, water cooler, bathroom and latrine are quite good.Match menu is very good and it provides ice cream, custard, daily sweets, paneer four days a week and also good vegetables, daily rice, papad, salad and many other things.Hostel registration is done along with document verification, so we don't bother much about it and can afford it too, but it costs around 5300 per month per person which is quite good compared to outsiders. The ones located from the hostels are inside the campus and are not too far away. The distance of the hostels from the classes is normal.
Admission :
I had applied for many universities but I am from Jaipur so finally I wanted MNIT Jaipur because it comes near me. Secondly, I am staying at a very good location in Jaipur.I had good friends with many seniors from MNIT and apart from that, the location of other colleges was a bit outside, like Patna, Srinagar, Jalandhar, these were a bit far from my home, so I chose MNIT Jaipur. The admission process of MNIT is based on JEE and after JEE, NIT is allotted through JOSAA counseling and after document verification in the admission process, direct orientation are held. The orientation is quite good here and the admission process was also quite good
Faculty :
Faculty student ratio is very good in MNIT. Like there can be a professor or something for 20 students. In MNIT, the behaviour of faculty towards students is also very good. Like all the faculties are frank and if the student wants to approach the faculty, then he can do it directly and contact through CR.All the teachers are very good except the Economics teacher who is a bit boring, rest of them are very good and all are experienced teachers. There are two types of papers in MNIT per semester ,one is mid semester and end semester.Mid semester is of 30 marks and end semester is of 50 marks and the remaining marks given by performance in class and assignment and through quiz.Around 10 students top the exam and the rest remain average
Other Applied Colleges
