- ICFAI University has the loveliest landscapes within the campus with clean roads and well maintained blocks.
- Washrooms are also so clean and there are refreshments and change rooms for girls.
Dislikes
- It's the local students as they aren't as co-operative as ideally they should be.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Some movies and web series that have glorified the lawyers inspired me to take law and I am sorry this is fact. Our curriculum teaches us the importance of law and since Indian law is about defending we are taught similarly.
Placement Experience :
Placements for law students are done after they have attended at least 4 intenrships as otherwise students are not allowed to sit for placements. The firm's keep coming and students with good CGPA and good intenrships credentials are easily chosen by the law firms and corporate that comes for the placements. The salary offered to students is quite less in comparison to that of students of top National Law Universities.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
At ICFAI, the fees is nominal where every student if they aren't eligible for any scholarship has to pay 1.3 lakhs. This is also has to be paid semester wise so it becomes much easy. Scholarships are for those who has a CLAT rank lesser than 10k and to those who are of SC/ST category or PWD or EWS.
Campus Life :
Classrooms are quite spacious as one student can take an entire bench we have that big classrooms. Our moot court is of a great note as it gives us a real life court room experience. Our sports ground has an even grade covering and is rolled every week. The open air Amphitheatre where debates and events happens is full of light during the event days.
Admission :
When ICFAI Dehradun is there why choose any other University or college. Firstly this is close to my hometown and secondly the kind of pristine name that the university has for its law program. There's always a debate going on that which is ICFAI's too school whether it's the management school or the law school but I think law school wins it hands down.
Faculty :
For law there has to be faculties that knows their subjects in and out and at ICFAI, we have such faculties. Some of them have practiced law while others are LLM and have also done their PhD in the same field.
