The campus itself is a landmark as Sequila which is an industrial village or the part of Doon, is known better because of ICFAI being located here.
Our course has global law case studies where we have been taught on Rockefeller to Carnegie case studies.

People like it as a boon but just one canteen among nearly 5000+ students is a joke to me.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Our course as I have mentioned earlier has case studies not just from historical cases from India but from the world. Some cases that dates back to over 100 years and how the judgements were passed then to what have changed now. Only grey area that I see is that we are not sponsored by college for our moot court competitions.

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 125000 per year

Placement Experience :

Some students themselves don't apply for placements while placements here are amazing. Banks to insurance and many others companies and apart from that best legal firms in the country also come for Placements here. Percentage may be 50 or little lesser but the ones who work hard and score consistently are placed through campus.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I have to pay a fees of 125 thousand this year which was 120 thousand last year. The fees includes everything from tuition to library to our insurance fees too. 30-40% of my batchmates are from reserved category and they have to pay nearly half of what general category students pay.

Campus Life :

The university has a central library and departmental libraries inside the campus. Besides that there are recreational activity rooms along with a sports complex. Classrooms are fully digitised and benches are International styled. On between the classes student are not seen jumping our of the classes as classes are fully air-conditioned. They stay warm during the winters as Dehradun winters are quite heavy. So infrastructure and campus life holds a thumbs up from everyone's end.

Admission :

Among private always universities there are two that stand one is OP Jindal University and the other one is ICFAI Dehradun. OP Jindal was my first choice but was rejected from there and hence ICFAI became my first choice.

Faculty :

Faculties here are young and experienced as we have both. Some top graduates who are freshers but posesses a wealth of knowledge are also our faculty. Besides that the ones who are in their late 40s or 50+ are also our faculties who have a great teaching experience plus the real life court experience as well.

College is good but THINK TWICE ABOUT HOSTEL.

Placement Experience:

Placement drive held in our department is for the students of final who applied for it on the college online portal. It was not for every students as everyone have their own plan for future. Not much companies visited for placements in our department. Placement is the thing that has to be improved

ICFAI University Dehradun is a personification!!

Placement Experience:

Major corporate would be Bajaj Capital and other NBFCs, last year EXIM bank also added as they took 14-15 students and majorly it's the law firms that helps us get jobs. It's a dream to work for top litigation firms like the Tatva Legal, Luthra and Luthra and others and ICFAI Dehradun provides that opportunity.

ICFAI Dehradun needs a lot more appreciation!!

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good here like in law generally getting placed is tough in top National Law Universities too. So, in that regards 50% students getting placed is more than decent, I would say. Total around 20 companies including law firms and corporate houses made their way at our campus last year and out of 120 students that applied for placements, 55 of them got the placements.

ICFAI Dehradun needs no introduction

Placement Experience:

The placements cell of the university is where we can enroll after the second year. There's just one rule that we should have no backlogs while entering the final year and should have done minimum required internships. If we are versed with that then banks and auto companies who have been in partnership with the university make sure that they get good enough work force from our campus with a handsome paycheck.

ICFAI University Dehradun is at par with NLUs

Placement Experience:

Once you enter the final year, your placements are more or less guaranteed. Highest package offered to our department was from ICICI Lombard and they offered on of the students a package of 30 lakhs last year. The average though settles between 5-6 LPA. My plan is to go for litigation as I don't want to go for a job after pursuing a personal degree.

ICFAI UNIVERSITY DEHRADUN is best for pursuing law in India!!

Placement Experience:

Companies only entertains the final year students so before that, one can't sit or apply for the placements though University. Almost all top law firms from Juristech, to Trilegal or Khaitan, they all have their eyes on students from ICFAI Dehradun. Apart from that many corporates too have shown interest in students of our university. Only 50% of the students sir for placements and out of which 80% do get placed.

Go for knowledge not for campus

Placement Experience:

The placement is very low like nill the placement companies comes every year the no. Of placement companies is 3-4only student became eligible for campus placement at there last year for law students.the companies law firms is come to college for placement the highest offer is 80000 and lowest is 20000 per month.the percentage of placement in college is about 2-3percentage. My plan after I complete my degree is to work at someone other lawyer to get experience.
